Vienna is different!

That was the slogan strategically placed on billboards, at every motorway entrance to the city. I remember it well, because they were on display shortly before I moved from Munich to Vienna almost exactly 10 years ago.

That idea made an impression on me, back then, and it is apparent also in my photography. I see and discover Vienna "differently", especially in the reflections and the blurriness that leave a lot of space for personal interpretations, dreams and imagination.

In these reflections, I find more layers of my inner self. This attitude has led me to realize that there is no such thing as an "objective" world out there!

My kind of photography is a journey - a search for beauty wherever it may be: In everyday life, in things both small and big, new and old, It is my immersion in a tour guided by fresh and curious children's eyes
