There is mutual character in theater and architecture found through space. This is what led me to talk about a common topic in Architecture School: space, but in a way that is not always the conventional. The development of this book parted from that premise. The process has been about exploring more common places between these two and discovering connections relating to space. This book took me to places where the boundaries that divide disciplines like architecture, scenic design and theater get blurry up to the point of becoming non-existent. So, one of the intentions is avoid being reduced to a single discipline, neither architecture nor theater.
Something as quotidian as space can be studied from unconventional points of view that complement the conventional architectural perspective. Theater can reveal the dramatic discourses behind the space we constantly transform but that also transforms ourselves.
