The Billion Dollar Sales Secret Harnessing the power of this 1 human psychological trigger can dramatically increase the profits of any online business… almost immediately. Hi, my name is Brad Callen. I’ve been selling products online since 2002. The internet has dramatically changed the course of mine and my family’s life. I earned my first million dollars before the age of 25. I’ve paid for everything, in cash, from roughly 2005 and on. I’ve been able to do things in life that wouldn’t have been possible had the internet not provided. For example, in 2013, my family and I moved from Indiana to California for about 10 months so I could attend a ministry school I’ve wanted to attend for quite some time. Normally that transition would have been very difficult, if not impossible, if I had a “real job”. And not only that, but we were able to pay for our housing for the entire 10 months, upfront, allowing us to enjoy our time in California and not stress about money. While I’m extremely uncomfortable talking about the things that we’re blessed with, I feel as though it’s important that you know what’s achievable with your own online business, if you do the right things along the way. Heck, you may be thinking to yourself, “Brad, big deal, I’m already making 10x that amount.” And if so, that’s REALLY awesome! But if not, trust me, anyone can do this, and my hope with this report is to shift the focus from all the random, fly by night, “money making tricks” we’re inundated with daily, to the 1 specific… The 1 most influential money making concept I’ve ever come across. Enough about me, let’s get right into the meat of this report and how it can help YOU make a heck of a lot more money with your own online business, no matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned marketing veteran.


Social Proof In this report, I will describe how the world around us is shaping our actions and how social influence or “social proof” determines many of the trends in our world. Before we begin, let’s define social proof, as per Wikipedia:

Believe it or not, this concept will be one of the most important business lessons you may ever learn and can bring a TON of cash into your business! As you read on, you will learn about just how powerful Social proof really is and how you can leverage it to explode your income. Allow me to provide the simplest example available of Social proof from research conducted by Milgram, Bickman, & Berkowitz in 1969 looking at the “Drawing Power of Crowds of Different Size”. Researchers took these two scenarios: 1. When a single individual looks up at the sky, 40% of people passing by will also look up. 2. If 15 people stop and look up, a whopping 80% will look as well when they walk by. Just looking at nothing was enough to change what people were doing and even force some of them to STOP in their tracks. While this illustrates the power of the herd mentality very simply, it also illustrates 2 key factors of social proof. 1. Individuals respond to stimuli at a high rate (1 person caused 40% of passerby’s to look up) 2. The resistance to react to that stimuli is reduced as others react (a group of 15 people causes 80% of passerby’s to look up) This will become more important as we go through this report.


How marketers like you and I can use social proof Robert Cialdini is one of the leading thinkers in the concept of social proof and he breaks it down into 2 fundamental categories:

Uncertainty is actually what prevents most of us from making a buying decision online. At its root, we are preying on the insecurities of people’s desire for uniformity and popularity. People WANT to think they are always getting the best and never getting shorted for their money. Smart marketers know this and will prey on the concept of uncertainty and similarity to shift peoples thinking. Kickstarter is one of the best examples of this happening in a marketing world. Notice this screenshot indicating that 68,929 people pledged to “back” this product. Now I don’t think that nearly 70,000 people really wanted this smartwatch on day one. But by the time 10,000 got one and it got covered by TechCrunch, Engadget, Yahoo, Time, etc… it made people reconsider. People who were uncertain about making a purchase, and, for whatever reason, shifted to wanting to follow the herd and get their hands on the hottest item on kickstarter. Their launch (and that website) is a perfect model for this pattern happening right before your eyes!

Shifting the minds of the people People desire to have their decisions validated by their peers. Often times you may question if they’re making the purchase for themselves or for the validation of those around them. But there is a shifting mentality of people today. The minds of the masses can be shifted by you, me, or literally anyone with a keyboard and an internet connection.


So the pattern today actually is somewhat inverse from that of the past.

This is the KEY to doubling your profits OVERNIGHT!

Pay CLOSE attention. Social “proof” Persuasion is a key part of marketing. Marketing as a science involves steering or suggestion to drive a response. The best marketers either create doubt and anxiety or provide a convincing story to compel you that other choices are not options. Either way, social proof is one of the marketer’s most powerful weapons to cause customers to spend their money. One of the, if not THE most pivotal examples of social proof in action is the world’s largest online shopping mall, Amazon.com. Take this image of these three books:

These are three books on a similar topic, with unknown authors, and they all look appealing. Which one would you pick?


I’ve said this before and been laughed at, but if you remove the Social Proof that Amazon provides, it becomes a TERRIBLE website to shop on. However, this now becomes a lot easier once we add in reviews.

Same three books and now it’s an entirely different shopping experience.

Now which one would you choose? The book with 521 people who validate this choice removes the uncertainty in choosing it. There is a key understanding here… Lack of Social Proof can actually make a good product seem subpar or even bad. Social proof is a REQUIREMENT to getting attention. If you don’t have validation you will not make anywhere near as many sales.

How we leverage social proof for profits It’s time for me to show you a very small piece of what we have actually tested, ourselves. We chose to use customer reviews as a means to drive response in our own markets. Much like the Amazon example of the book with TWO reviews, we also saw products without social proof lagging in sales. When we introduced reviews we saw a whopping 37.8% improvement in conversion. That’s an instant influx of money into our pockets. Check out the screenshot. That’s taken directly from our “Visual Website Optimizer” account (one of the best split testing services available, as it’s very accurate). By adding fresh testimonials to our web page, we made 37.8% MORE MONEY, without changing the sales message, without changing the website design, and without doing ANYTHING else other than adding testimonials! Talk about an EASY, quick change that anyone can implement.


To ensure this wasn’t just an isolated effect (i.e. a total fluke), we decided to extend our testing to a few other products and niches. Now, since you’ve read this report up to this point, I’m sure you can take a guess what happened. By ONLY adding reviews to our sales pages resulted in a 17.7% improvement in conversion.

Extremely pleased with these results, we ran it a few more times in different niches again and saw all the way up to a 156.4% increase in sales! That’s right. We didn’t change our sales copy, marketing tactics, or product offering and got over 150% more in sales. That’s more than double the money, instantly!

When I buy things, reviews are pivotal to making a purchase decision. It’s not about telling people your product is amazing anymore. It’s about connecting your prospects with other people that have already made the buying decisions they’re about to make. Once we understood this, we realized we were leaving all kinds of money on the table trying to TELL people what to buy. Based on our testing and knowing just how powerful social proof can be when customers are thinking about buying online, we came to the obvious conclusion that testimonials (and not old, out dated testimonials. Ideally, fresh testimonials) are a must have in any online business. Without social proof, customers are uncertain about buying from you and THEY WILL look elsewhere until they are comfortable. You basically are wasting their time…

Social proof on steroids just for you! I’ve learned a lot running businesses online. I’ve learned about getting traffic, writing copy, sourcing products, building websites, and all the other nonsense that goes into getting a business off the ground. But it wasn’t until we really started to apply social proof that we saw our businesses take off. But here’s the problem… and the reason most people don’t utilize social proof anywhere near the extent that they should.


To properly collect enough testimonials, you need: •Autoresponders •CRM systems •Copywriters •Web developers (to add reviews to your website) •Hours and hours of YOUR time... For those that don’t know, clickbank.com is the largest digital retailer in the world, having done over 3 BILLION dollars in sales. Well, our tiny little weight loss eBook sold more than any other product in Clickbank for well over a year! Well let me tell you a secret. What allowed us to attract so many affiliates and push us to the top was entirely due to the high conversion rates of our sales page. And those high conversion rates came from ONE single test I performed.
