L

auren Samantha Daniels was

born and raised in Philadelphia. She took on the stage name LSD, feeling that it was the name that best fit her. Not only was it her initials to her name it's also a very common drug which happens to be very addictive once you get a dose of it, and that's what she feels her music is! With the look of a princess and the edge of a sword LSD is the next artist to explode in 2011! LSD has been writing and recording her own music since the age of 11. Starting off just a little girl playing around on a karaoke machine. She soon started writing and letting only her close friends, and family being the judge of her music. It took only her best friend and her mother to notice her musical flare and from that moment she began taking rapping serious. Soon after that she ran into Mr. Rick Dange who later started to manage her she now felt determined to make it. Now being a young woman she started to express her life experiences into her into her material, creating music that could literally relate to anyone. LSD is also very versatile that's one of the qualities that sets her apart from other female rappers. Starting off doing small things just for exposure. LSD started hooking up with popular underground rap artist in her city recording and making collaborations with other artist. She then started to get on DVD’s giving them her all which caused more and more people to take notice. Performing at night clubs, lounges, and showcases making her buzz now even bigger! She then released her first Mixtape called "America's Next Top" killing the streets of Philadelphia and gaining her street credibility as well as offers from major record labels. “America’s Next Top" literally sold out within days leaving the streets hungry for more, and with that being said LSD was now considered the hottest female rapper in Philadelphia. Who is this pretty face that spits fire? That was the one question flooding the streets of Philadelphia. LSD also released another mix tape which flooded the internet and is currently working on her 3rd mix tape. She is truly a female lyricist, let alone a definition of a true superstar.
