Oh Almighty! Lead us from the unreal (falsity) to the real (truth) From darkness to light From death to immortality Oh Almighty May there be Peace. Peace. Peace.

For my concept I wanted to find a concept that could be seen and viewed in various aspects. Finding lightwithin the darkness can have multiple meanings, and various interpretations. I was able to turn my concept into a more abstract idea, of finding light in the darkness, such as representing possibly finding the good in bad situations in life.

concept

My concept for this project came after we watched the Disney film Soul. While there was many concepts and ideas that stood out and had themes throughout the film. The idea and concept that really stuck with me was the idea presented; The Illusion of Freedom. This idea that they talked about in the movie, that when everybody’s soul is created, they are given a predetermined set of personalities and a preset life career or passion. This made me wonder if this could be a real theory about us humans, if we all truly do get to chose what our career or passion in life is, or weather we are ment to find that as our passion or career because that is what we are supposed to do.

my ground models were created in a way that followed a similar fashion of my

drawdles., but with a conceptual twist.

My

left most model

starts out very simple, with clear movements flowing into the next model, which becomes very complex and has lots of depth, showing the multitude of interpretations my concept takes on.

Then

flowing into

my right most model, you start to see opening upof spaces through the y models

model to introduce a stronger dimensionality to my spaces and concept.

details.

Fatalism may apply to all events, or may take a more restricted form. It may be consistent with determinism, the belief that every event, including everything we do, is caused by something other than itself. On the other hand, it may be consistent with indeterminism, the belief that not every event has a cause, and that some events cannot be explained by universal laws or principles. Fatalism

may conflict with determinism if it asserts that

we cannot effectively change our actions, or cause a change in the outcome of events.

On

the other hand,

fatalism may conflict with indeterminism if it asserts that we do not have the freedom to choose our own actions.

Determinism

may allow that, even if our actions are caused

by forces which we cannot control, our actions can still be effective in changing the outcome of events.

On

the

other hand, indeterminism may allow that, even if there are events which we cannot control, we have the freedom to choose how to respond, without being compelled to respond in a certain way by forces beyond our control.

Fatalism

may take the view that, if all our actions are caused

by forces beyond our control, then we are not responsible for our actions. If we are placed in situations beyond our control, then we may not be free to choose how to respond.

freedom moment

This

may be in conflict with the theory of free will, that we

we began this project by looking at a series of famous homes and studied the various aspects of them that make them unique. we had drawn the different systems of the homes and studied the archtiectural techniques that made them each unique to each architect who designed them

The Bianchi House - designed by Italian architect Mario Botta in 1971. Built on a sharply inclined hillside above the village of Riva San Vitale on the shores of Lake Lugano, the house is set in the lower part of the plot and laid out on different levels like a tower.

delta shelter

4x4 house

The 4x4 house - Ando has taken a plan, 13 feet by 13 feet (4 x 4 m) - the maximum dimensions possible for the site - and created a hour story tower. The entrance and utility room are on the first floor , a bedroom is on the second floor , a study is on the third floor and the living/dining room (the heart of the house) is on the top floor. Delta Shelter – a 1,000 square-foot cabin – is essentially a steel-clad box on stilts that can be completely shuttered when the owner is away. ... Most of the structure, including the steel structure, roof panels, shutters, and stairs, was prefabricated off-site, thereby reducing on-site waste and site disruption

The

is quite abstract.

Well,

a good

way to define it is to look back at the bullet points above that describe what it feels like to be lost.

The is

reverse each of those statements.

So

you should end up with a

strong sense of identity, know your place in the world, be able to imagine a different future, and feel content with your life in general.

You should feel engaged with life, as though you are choosing your path rather than letting it choose you.

I

my structure, and play with the idea of indoors and outdoors spaces blending together.

the quantum particle In

the

description of interfering waves.

The

particle is

described mathematically by a special quantum kind of wave called a wavefunction. When interference occurs, each particle’s wavefunction includes parts corresponding to the particle going each way, much like the way that a classical wave that interferes has parts going both ways. Unfortunately, eight decades

Erwin Schrdinger introduced the idea of a wavefunction, physicists still do not agree about the nature of the physical reality that it describes. after

using architecture to prove the quantum particle’s existence

the double-slit experiment is a demonstration that light and matter can display characteristics of both classically defined waves and particles; moreover, it displays the fundamentally probabilistic nature of quantum mechanical phenomena

We

now know that quantum particles create such an

interference pattern, too like nature.

Postulated

Broglie, this idea was verified for electrons a few years later by US physicists Clinton Davisson and Lester Germer. Even large molecules such as buckminsterfullerene — made of 60 carbon atoms — will behave in this way. The particles seem to interfere with themselves. it’s truly particle-like, with no more waviness. de
