2:15 p.m. Flex your artistic muscles while you create a unique and colorful tie-dye t-shirt! All tie-dye materials will be provided. You will need to bring one white t-shirt to this program. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents. Entering Gr. 6-12. Register online in advance if interested. This event will be taking place on the back lawn of the Farmingdale Public Library, 116 Merritts Rd.

Teen Takeover Friday

3 p.m. Enjoy open play with our video games on our Switch and laptops, build with our LEGO collection, check out our collection of board games, and hang out with friends in the Bar Harbour Auditorium! For teens in grades 6-12. Register online in advance if interested. This event will be taking place in the auditorium of the Massapequa Public Library, 40 Harbor Lane.

Wonderful Wind Chimes

2:15 p.m. Let’s make a cool wind chime together. Open to all ages with an adult. Programs run by the Children’s Department are for children residing in UFSD #22 only. You MUST use your child’s library card to register. Registration with an adult card will be invalid. This event is taking place in room E of the Farmingdale Public Library, 116 Merritts Rd.

Learn to Play the Ukulele

Fridays, July 28, August 4, 11, 18 at 7:30 p.m. Take lessons from a professional musician and learn to play the ukulele! If you do not own a ukulele, we will lend one to you to use so that you can practice at home. Register online in advance if interested. This event will be taking place in the meeting room of the Bethpage Public Library, 47 Powell Ave.
