Ingredients 1 Salmon fillet or other type of fish or tofu (for vegetarian) ½ teaspoon Palo power (or five-spice powder) 3 cloves of Garlic A small hand full of Coriander A pinch of Black Pepper Black Soy Sauce (not necessary) Brown Sugar Light Soy Sauce Salt Oil for frying Fish Sauce

Ingredients

Slice salmon fillet into small cubes. Be careful not to make them too small, they may crumble when stirring. Marinade the salmon pieces in salt water to rid the fishy smell.

Crush and mix garlic, coriander and black pepper in a grinding bowl.

Move garlic-coriander-pepper mix onto the greased frying pan.

Gentle fry the herbs until they start giving out a nice smell then add Palo/five-spice powder, mix well. Add your some flavouring, should be salty and sweet, and then add the salmon pieces.

Quickly mix the salmon pieces with the herbal paste on the pan.

Wait for the salmon on one side to cook then flip them over to cook the other side. Add some water to the pan (same amount as salmon fillet) then gently stir.

Pour the stew into a stew pot. Leave on moderate heat for 15 minutes. Add more flavours to your liking.

Serve hot with rice.

ฟื้นโรงหนังสยาม

The Criminal Court has started to examine a request by the Department of Special Investigation for an arrest warrant for former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra on terrorism charges. DSI deputy chief presented the court with documents and other evidence including video clips to substantiate the charges. According to DSI, the arrest warrant was issued as Thaksin likely committed offences against Sections 135/1, 135/2, and 135/3 of the Criminal Code.

The prosecution, meanwhile, has warned that it might be too soon to start extradition proceedings against Thaksin. The DSI has yet to charge him formally. Chief prosecutor for foreign affairs said the prosecution could not proceed with extradition until the DSI decided to indict Thaksin.

(โดย สุทธิชัย หยุ่น) กระแสจากนักวิชาการจากนักวิจารณ์สังคมต่อต้านการรายงานข่าวของซีเอ็นเอ็น มาจากนั ก ข่ า วต่ า งประเทศไม่ ส ามารถอธิ บ ายความสลั บ ซั บ ซ้ อ นของปั ญ หา การเมืองไทยได้ ขณะเดี ย วกั น ก็ มี อ คติ เ ดิ ม ของความเป็ น นั ก ข่ า วตะวั น ตกที่ พ อได้ ข่ า วคราวว่ า นี่ เป็นการต่อต้านเผด็จการ หรือเป็นการเรียกร้องประชาธิปไตยของคนยากคนจน นักข่าวเหล่านั้นก็จะกระโดดเข้าไปฝ่ายผู้ประท้วง ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องปกติ แต่ในกรณีของไทยครั้งนี้สลับซับซ้อนมากกว่าแค่ประเทศโลกที่สามประเทศหนึ่งส่ง ทหารเข้าไปยิงประชาชนที่ไม่มีอาวุธ เพราะว่าถ้านักข่าวต่างประเทศทำการเมือง ก็ จ ะรู้ ว่ า ทางฝ่ า ยผู้ ป ระท้ ว งบางกลุ่ ม นั้ น มี ก องกำลั งไม่ ป รากฏที่ ม าที่ ไ ปใช้ อ าวุ ธ สงคราม เอ็ม79 รวมไปถึงระเบิดเพลิง และอาวุธต่างๆ มากมาย ยิงใส่ทั้งทหาร และผู้ชุมนุมบางคน เพื่อสร้างสถานการณ์ให้เกิดความปั่นป่วนวุ่นวาย

คำว่า “ผู้ก่อการ้ายบางคน” ที่รัฐบาลใช้กับบางคนในกลุ่มผู้ประท้วงนั้น นักข่าวต่างประเทศ เองไม่ได้ให้ความสนใจเพียงพอที่จะไปสอบสวนตรวจสอบ เช่นกรณีที่วัดปทุมวนาราม ถ้านัก ข่าวต่างประเทศเข้าไปตรวจค้นก็จะรู้ว่ามีอาวุธสะสมอยู่จำนวนไม่น้อยทีเดียว ทั้งหมดจะโทษซีเอ็นเอ็นอย่างเดียวคงไม่ได้ เป็นหน้าที่ของรัฐบาล เป็นหน้าที่ของนักวิชาการ เป็นหน้าที่ของสื่อในประเทศเอง ที่จะต้องสะท้อนถึงข้อเท็จจริงรอบด้านให้เห็นว่าสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้น ในประเทศไทยขณะนี้ไม่ใช่ขาวกับดำ ไม่ใช่เผด็จการไม่ใช่ทรราชที่ปราบปรามประชาชน ผู้เรียกร้องประชาธิปไตย หากแต่เป็นกลุ่มคนมากมายหลายกลุ่มที่มารวมตัวกัน และมีอดีต นายกรัฐมนตรีที่ชื่อทักษิณ ชินวัตร อยู่เบื้องหลัง เป็นการต่อสู้เพื่ออำนาจของสองกลุ่ม กลุ่ม ที่มีอำนาจขณะนี้ กับกลุ่มที่สูญเสียอำนาจ แน่นอนหากทีวีซีเอ็นเอ็น บีบีซี มีเวลาเพียงไม่กี่นาทีต่อชั่วโมง เพื่อรายงานเหตุการณ์ที่ร้อนรุ่ม มีทั้งเสียงระเบิด มีทั้งการเผาบ้านเผาเมือง ถ้านักข่าวต่างประเทศคนนั้นไม่ทำการบ้านเพียง พอ ไม่สนใจที่จะเจาะให้ลึกรอบด้าน ก็จะออกมาด้วยภาษาข่าวที่อคติของนักข่าวตะวันตก อย่างที่เห็นกัน จึงเป็นหน้าที่ของเราที่จะต้องให้ข่าว และวิพากษ์วิจารณ์เขาอย่างตรงไปตรงมา เพื่อสำนัก ข่าวต่างประเทศจะได้รู้ว่า ต่อแต่นี้ไปจะมีคนตรวจสอบการทำงานของเขา ทั้งผ่านสื่อใน ประเทศไทย ผ่านนักวิชาการ และผ่านโซเชียลมีเดีย ทั้งเฟซบุ๊ก หรือยูทูบ ก็ตาม CNN News reporters - ignorant and biased Professionals and critics declared CNN lacks the ability to clarify the complexity of the current political crisis in Thailand.

Simultaneously, being a western news reporter, whenever they hear of civilians demanding democracy, they would undoubtedly side with the protesters as usual.

However, with the current circumstances in Thailand, it is more complicated than just “one of the third world countries sending troops to gun down their own defenceless civilians”. Critics alleged, if only the foreign reporters payed attention to the politics, they would then realise that some of the anti-government activists are using military weapons including M79, firebombs and many other types of weapons to attack soldiers and other civilians in order to cause irrepressible mayhem.

The Thai government use the term “terrorists” to describe the political activists, but many western news reporters have neglected to look into the situations properly and don’t realise the justification for labelling them terrorists. This was also the case with the incident at Patoomwanaram Temple. If foreign news reporters had inspected inside the temple, they would have found a decent sized collection of deadly weapons.

Bangkok governor stated after the horrify crisis in Bangkok, it’s time Thai people put our hands together and restore the city and bring back its joy once again. Many Thai civilians and foreigners turn up to show their strength and send a message that it is not important what color shirt you wear, let’s forgive and forget and move forward together as a nation. As for the tourism, Bangkok is currently working on a way to rebuild its tourist reputation. Furthermore, Bangkok government is provide help for small businesses that may have been affected by traffic collisions including help with unemployment, financial support, lower taxes for business owners and temporary felicities for small businesses.

ข่าวโดย มติชน และ คมชัดลึก

CNN is not entirely to blame, the responsibility also belongs to the government, professionals and media within the country to reflect the facts and truth from every aspect. It is important to make sure that the foreign media understands that the situation in Thailand is not as “black and white” as they may think. It is not about dictatorship and tyrant eradicating civilians who are demanding democracy.

In fact it is about a group of people who rallied together with a former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in the background. It is a battle between 2 parties; one who’s currently holding the authority and one who’s lost it.

Obviously if CNN and BBC only have several minutes to report this intense situation, and have not done their homework properly or have not bothered to study it thoroughly enough, then the outlook of the news could be biased and subjective as we see quite often in western news.

It is our responsibility to judge their performance in the most straight forward way as possible so that they realise that there are people out there monitoring their work at all times, through media in Thailand, professionals, social media, Facebook and Youtube etc.

งานวันวิสาขบูชา ณ วัดไทย Boxhill ในโอกาสที่สมเด็จพระมหามุนีวงศ์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดราชบพิธ และพระธรรมทูต อีก 6 รูป ได้เดินทางเยือนนครดาร์วิน กรุงแคนเบอร์รา และนครซิดนีย์ ข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา และครอบครัว ได้ร่วม กันทำบุญถวายภัตตาหารแก่คณะพระธรรมทูต เมื่อวันที่ 21 พ.ค. 2553 ที่ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในวันศุกร์ที่ 28 พฤษภาคม ที่ผ่านมา ดร.ไซมอน วอลเลซ กงสุลใหญ่ (กิตติมศักดิ์) ไทยประจำรัฐวิคตอเรีย ได้เชิญตัวแทนสมาคมนักเรียนไทยแห่ง รัฐวิคตอเรียเข้าพบ ณ สถานกงสุลไทยฯ เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดตั้งคณะ กรรมการชุดใหม่ รวมทั้งให้คำปรึกษาในการดำเนินงานเพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดแก่ กลุ่มนักเรียนไทยในเมลเบิร์น และแนะนำวิธีการประชาสัมพันธ์สมาคมฯให้ เป็นที่รู้จักแพร่หลาย เมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2553 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำประเทศ ออสเตรเลี ย ร่ ว มกั บ สถานเอกอั ค รราชทู ต ณ กรุ ง แคนเบอร์ ร า และ Buddhist Federation of Australia ได้จัดงานเนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา รวม ทั้ งได้ อั ญ เชิ ญ พระบรมสารี ริ ก ธาตุ ซึ่ ง ได้ รั บ มอบจากรั ฐ บาลศรี ลั ง กา มา ประดิษฐานเพื่อให้พุทธศาสนิกชนในกรุงแคนเบอร์ราได้สักการะ งานดังกล่าว จัดขึ้นที่ Belconnen Arts Center โดยมีการนิมนต์พระสงฆ์จากประเทศ ต่างๆ จากทั้งวัดในกรุงแคนเบอร์ราและนครซิดนีย์ มาเจริญพระพุทธมนต์เพื่อ ความเป็ น สิ ริ ม งคล นอกจากนั้ น ยั งได้ รั บ เกี ย รติ จ ากนาง Joy Burch, Minister for Multicultural Affairs ของ Australian Capital Territory มากล่าวเปิดงาน พระสงฆ์จากนานาประเทศร่วมกันเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ในงาน แขกผู้มีเกียรติที่ได้รับเชิญมาร่วมงาน ซึ่งประกอบด้วยคณะทูต นักการเมือง ท้องถิ่น และผู้แทนสมาคมต่างๆ ในกรุงแคนเบอร์รา นาย Senaka C.B. Days Of The Week In Thai

Thai Days of the Week and their Corresponding Colours

*Thursday comes from “Thor” (God of thunder), which in Roman is called “Jupiter” (who created thunder and lightening). In Thai it is called, “Wun Preu hud sa bor dee วันพฤหัสบดี” which means “Days of Jupiter”. *Friday in Roman is called “Day of Venus”, the word “Freya” is also an old English word meaning “Goddess of Beauty”. In Thai it is called, “Wun Soog วันศุกร์” which means “Day of Venus”. *Saturday comes from the “Day of Saturn” which is the same in both English and Roman. Saturn is the God of agriculture. In Thai it is called, “Wun Sao” which means “Day of Saturn”.

Names of the week in the Thai and English languages have a similar history.

During the Babylonian period they were based on the lunar calendar.

The first day of the month was marked by the first visible crescent of the moon. Thai people call this “Kahng Keun ข้างขึ้น” this translates to mean “The Moon coming up or waxing of the moon”. The waxing takes 14 days to become a full moon. In Thai this is called “Keun neung kum teung keun sib see kum ขึ้น 1 ค่ำ ถึง ขึ้น 14 ค่ำ”. In Thai this translates to “Waxing 1 to 14 nights”. After that the Moon starts to wane, which Thai people call “Kahng ram ข้างเเรม”. It takes a further 14 days for the moon to finish waning. In Thai we call this “Ram neung kum teung ram sib see kum เเรม 1 ค่ำ ถึง เเรม 14 ค่ำ”. This translates to “Waning 1 to 14 nights”. Even today, the Thai calendar still shows the stages of the waxing and the waning moon.

In the Thai language, the seven day week was eventually formalised and no longer linked to the cycles of the Moon. The names of the seven days of the week now originate from the Sun, the Moon and 4 planets of the Solar system. *Sunday in Thai is called “Wun ah tid วันอาทิตย์”, it means “Day of the Sun” which is the same as in English. *Monday in Thai is called “Wun jun วันจันทร์”, it means “Day of the Moon” which is also the same as in English. *Tuesday, Tiw is the Germanic God of war and the sky which is the same as the Roman God of war “Mars”. In Thai it is called “Wun Ungkarn วันอังคาร” which means “Day of Mars”. *Wednesday, in Roman comes from the “Day of Mercury” which means the Messenger of God. In Thai it is called, “Wun Poot วันพุธ” which means “Day of Mercury”.

Each day of the week has a certain importance for Thai people in 2 particular ways, being that each day represents a certain colour and also has a particular significance to their horoscope. People born on different days are believed to have different personality characteristics and can get along well with people who born on other matching days.

For Buddhists there are also 7 positions of the Buddha image representing each day of the week.

Colours for each day of the week for Thai people Thai tradition gives each day of the week an auspicious colour, as follows: * Sunday’s colour is red which represents the Sun. Sunday วันอาทิตย์ wun ah-tit; red colour สีเเดง see dang * Monday’s is yellow which represents the Moon.

Monday วันจันทร์ wun jun; yellow colour สีเหลือง see leuang. * Tuesday’s colour is pink which represents Mars.

Tuesday วันอังคาร wun ung-karn; pink colour สีชมพู see chom poo. * Wednesday’s colour is green which represents Mercury.

Wednesday วันพุธ wun poot; green colour สีเขียว see keeo. * Thursday’s colour is orange which represents Jupiter.

Thursday วันพฤหัสบดี wun preu hud sa bor dee; orange colour สีส้ม see som. * Friday’s colour is blue which represents Venus.

Friday วันศุกร์ wun soog; blue colour สีฟ้า see fah. * Saturday’s colour is purple which represents Saturn.

Saturday วันเสาร์ wun sao; purple colour สีม่วง see mooang.

Thais believe that the day of your birth will determine your fortune.

3. การใช้สาธารณูปโภค สาธารณูปโภคที่ว่านี้หมายถึงน้ำ ไฟ แก๊ส ค่ะ ขอแฉตัว เองก่อนเลยว่า ตอนอยู่เมืองไทย ฉันไม่เคยมีจิตสำนึกในเรื่องการประหยัดพลังงาน และลดค่าใช้จ่ายในการใช้สาธารณูปโภคเหล่านี้เลย และยังไม่คำนึงว่าทรัพยากรเหล่า นี้จะหมดไปจากโลกในเร็ววันอีกด้วย มีตัวอย่างแย่ๆในอดีตมาเล่าสู่กันฟังค่ะ ฉันเป็น คนกลัวผีขึ้นสมอง ถ้าต้องอยู่มืดๆ ขอตายดีกว่า ตอนอยู่บ้านที่เมืองไทย ก็เลยไล่เปิด ไฟหมดทั้งบ้านโดยไม่แคร์สายตาใคร ฉันมีพฤติกรรมแบบนี้จนกระทั่งมามีครอบครัว ของตัวเอง มีบ้านเอง และที่สำคัญ ต้องจ่ายค่าสาธารณูปโภคเหล่านี้เอง คนไร้ จิตสำนึกในอดีตจึงหายไปจากตัวฉันทันที ฉันเปลี่ยนเป็นคนใหม่ที่ใส่ใจพลังงานและสิ่ง แวดล้อม ไล่ปิดไฟทุกดวงที่ไม่ได้ใช้ ก่อนออกจากบ้านต้องปิดสวิตช์ไฟไม่ใช่แค่กดปิด ที่รีโมททีวี ส่วนเรื่องการประหยัดน้ำนั้น ถ้าเป็นฤดูใบไม้ร่วงและฤดูหนาว ฉันแนะนำ ว่าหากไม่ได้ทำกิจกรรมที่สกปรกเกินไปก็อาบน้ำแค่วันละ 1 ครั้งก็พอค่ะ และไม่เกิน 3 นาที สำหรับการกดชักโครก คู่สามีภรรยาสามารถปฏิบัติภารกิจเบา (ปัสสาวะ) ต่อกันได้แล้วรวมกดในครั้งเดียว ส่วนการประหยัดไฟในอีกรูปแบบหนึ่งที่ไม่ยากจนเกิน ไปก็คือ ครอบครัวเราซื้อหลอดไฟแบบประหยัดไฟ มาเปลี่ยนแทนหลอดที่ land lord (เจ้ า ของบ้ า น) ติ ด เอาไว้ อ ยู่ แ ล้ ว เพื่ อ ลดพลั ง งานและค่ าใช้ จ่ า ย บ้ า นไหนอยาก ประหยัดก็ลองนำวิธีนี้ไปใช้ดูนะคะ 4. ความสวยความงาม เสื้อผ้า หน้า ผม เกิดเป็นผู้หญิง ใครๆก็รักสวยรักงาม ด้วยกันทั้งนั้น อยากจะแต่งโน่นเสริมนี่ให้ตัวเองดูดีอยู่เสมอ ฉันก็ไม่ค่อยต่างจากหญิง สาวคนอื่นๆ เท่าไรหรอกค่ะ ยิ่งเมืองไทยเป็นแหล่งช้อปปิ้งที่เริ่ดและถูกที่สุดในเอเชีย สาวๆที่ไหนก็อยากจับจ่ายทั้งนั้น แต่พอย้ายสำมะโนครัวมาอยู่ที่ออสเตรเลี ยแล้ ว ความสามารถในการแต่งกายก็ลดลง จากที่เคยซื้อเสื้อผ้าอย่างน้อยเดือนละ 1 ครั้ง ตอนนี้ลดลงเหลือ ปีละ 1-2 ครั้งเท่านั้นค่ะ ที่เรทตกต่ำลงได้ขนาดนี้ก็เพราะมีปัจจัย หลักอยู่เพียงไม่กี่อย่าง 1) เสื้อผ้าที่นี่แฟชั่นค่อนข้างเชย เมื่อเทียบกับของบ้านเรา 2) เสื้อผ้าเหล่านี้ราคาแพงเกินเหตุ นักประหยัดอย่างฉันซื้อไม่ลงค่ะ เพราะฉะนั้นเรื่อง เสื้อผ้าเครื่องแต่งกายจึงเซฟไปได้มาก ขอแนะนำว่าหากคุณมีโอกาสได้กลับเมืองไทย

บ้าง ก็อย่าลืมช้อปเสื้อผ้าบ้านเราไว้ใส่ยามยากที่เมลเบิร์นนะคะ เพราะราคาต่างกัน เยอะ ส่วนเสื้อโค้ท เสื้อกันหนาวสามารถซื้อตอนเซลที่นี่ได้ค่ะ เสื้อผ้าที่ออสเตรเลีย หรือประเทศที่มีหลายฤดูเขาจะขายกันเป็น season ตามฤดูกาลของอากาศ หน้า หนาวก็จะขายเสื้อโค้ท เสื้อกันหนาวกันเกลื่อนเมือง ส่วนหน้าร้อนมักจะนิยมเดรสสั้นๆ เสื้อสายเดี่ยว หรือ กางเกงขาสั้น อย่างไรก็ตาม เสื้อกันหนาวก็ยังมีวางจำหน่ายอยู่ บ้าง โดยเฉพาะช่วงการเปลี่ยนฤดู หากซื้อเสื้อโค้ทในช่วงหมดฤดูหนาวเข้าฤดูใบไม้ผลิ หรือฤดูร้อน จะซื้อได้ในราคาที่ถูกมาก น่าจะลดได้ถึง 70% เลยทีเดียวค่ะ ฉันเคย สำรวจราคาเสื้อโค้ทเก๋ๆตัวหนึ่ง ช่วง winter เสื้อโค้ทตัวนี้ถูกตั้งราคาไว้ถึง 150 เหรียญ แต่พอหมดฤดูกาล ราคาของเสื้อโค้ทตกลงไปอยู่แค่ 45 เหรียญ เท่านั้น 5. Transportations เมลเบิร์น ถือได้ว่าเป็นเมืองใหญ่เมืองหนึ่งของโลกที่มีการ คมนาคมที่สะดวก รวดเร็ว และปลอดภัย อีกทั้งยังประหยัดมากเมื่อเทียบกับรายได้ ของคนที่นี่ อยู่ที่นี่ฉันสนุกกับการใช้บริการ public transportations มาก ทั้งรถบัส รถไฟ รถราง แถมยังมีรถรางฟรีวิ่งรอบตัวเมืองอีกด้วย ประหยัดเห็นๆค่ะ สำหรับผู้ที่ ต้องการประหยัดมากกว่าการซื้อตั๋วเที่ยวต่อเที่ยวก็คือ การซื้อตั๋วเป็นแพ็กเกจล่วงหน้า ตัวอย่างเช่น ตั๋วที่ใช้เดินทางภายใน 2 ชั่วโมง ราคา 2.8 เหรียญ แต่ถ้าซื้อตั๋วที่ใช้ เดินทางภายใน 2 ชั่วโมง 10 ครั้ง (เป็น package ในใบเดียว) ขายในราคา 20.20 เหรียญ ซึ่งสามารถประหยัดได้เกือบ 8 เหรียญ เลยทีเดียว สำหรับผู้ที่เดินทางโดยรถยนต์ส่วนตัว ฉันแนะนำว่า ให้เลือกเติมน้ำมันในวันที่น้ำมัน ถูกที่สุด โดยปกติแล้วคนที่นี่นิยมเติมวันอังคารหรือพุธ หากต้องการประหยัดมากกว่า นั้น ให้นำคูปองส่วนลดการเติมน้ำมันที่ได้จากการซื้อสินค้าในราคา 30 เหรียญขึ้นไป ที่Coles/Safeway supermarket มาใช้ควบคู่กับการเติมน้ำมันในแต่ละครั้ง จะได้ ลดลิตรละ 4 cent ค่ะ โดยปกติในแต่ละครั้งที่ครอบครัวเราเติมน้ำมันจนเต็มถัง จะ ลดได้ครั้งละประมาณ 2-3 เหรียญ หากทำอย่างนี้ทุกครั้งก็จะเป็นการประหยัดค่าเดิน ทางลงไปได้เยอะทีเดียว

Pregnant Walker เดินทำงานทั้งวันขณะท้องถือเป็นการออกกำลังกายหรือไม่ การเดิน เกือบทั้งวัน ถ้าไม่ต้องยกของหนักก็คงจะไม่มีผลอะไร และถือเป็นการ ออกกำลังกายได้ส่วนหนึ่ง จะช่วยให้ร่างกายกระฉับกระเฉง ดีกว่านั่งๆ นอนๆ ถ้าได้มีการบริหารร่างกายเพิ่มขึ้นในช่วงเช้าๆ ก่อนหรือหลังทำงาน (ถ้าไม่เหนื่อย มากจนเกินไป) ทำสัปดาห์ละ 3 วัน ช่วงละ 15-30 นาที ก็จะช่วยให้นอนหลับ ได้ดี, ลดอาการเครียด, ท้องไม่ผูก, ลดการเป็นตะคริว แต่ถ้า เหนื่อยมากไม่ต้อง ทำค่ะ เพราะอาจเป็นอันตรายได้ เวลานอนควรยกเท้าสูงโดยใช้หมอน หมอนข้าง หรือผ้าห่มหนุน จะช่วยลดอาการเป็นตะคริวที่น่อง ซึ่งเกิดจากการยืนนานๆ และ ลดอาการบวมที่เท้าของคุณได้อย่างดี แต่ถ้านอนกลางคืนหนุนเท้าให้สูงขึ้นแล้ว เช้าขึ้นมาเท้ายังบวมอีก ถือว่าผิดปกติควรจะไปพบแพทย์ค่ะ การวิ่งเหยาะหรือวิ่งจ๊อกกิ้ง เป็นการวิ่งเพื่อสุขภาพที่ดีมาก สำหรับคนท้องผู้ที่วิ่ง เหยาะเป็นประจำอยู่ แ ล้ ว เมื่ อ ตั้ ง ครรภ์ ก็ ส ามารถวิ่ ง เหยาะต่ อไปได้ แต่ ก็ ต้ อ ง ระมัดระวังเพิ่มขึ้นจากปกติคือ ในระหว่างอายุครรภ์ 1-3 เดือนแรก อาจจะมี อาการคลื่นไส้อาเจียน เบื่ออาหาร หัวใจเต้นเร็ว ทำให้วิ่งได้ลำบาก นอกจากนี้ อาจเกิดภาวะน้ำตาลในเลือดต่ำได้ในระหว่างการออกกำลังกาย เมื่ออายุครรภ์ มากขึ้น น้ำหนักตัวมากขึ้น รูปร่างเปลี่ยนไป หน้าท้องโตขึ้น บั้นเอวแอ่นมากขึ้น ทำให้จุดศูนย์ถ่วงของร่างกายเปลี่ยนไป รวมทั้งอาจมีอาการขาบวม เส้นเลือด Page 14

ขอด ซึ่งล้วนแต่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการวิ่ง นอกจากนี้ในระหว่างการตั้งครรภ์ ความ ตึงตัวของเนื้อเยื่อและเส้นเอ็นต่าง ๆ จะลดลง ทำให้ข้อต่าง ๆ ขาดความมั่นคง เป็นผลให้เกิดการบาดเจ็บได้ง่าย ด้วยเหตุดังกล่าว สำหรับผู้ที่ไม่ค่อยวิ่ง จึงไม่ ควรเริ่มต้นวิ่งเมื่อตั้งครรภ์ ที่เคยวิ่งอยู่ก่อนตั้งครรภ์และต้องการวิ่งต่อไป ควรลด ความหนักลงจากปกติประมาณร้อยละ 25 โดยทั่วไปไม่ควรวิ่งให้หัวใจเต้นเร็วกว่า นาทีละ 140 ครั้ง ระยะเวลาออกกำลังกายความหนักสูงสุด ไม่ควรเกิน 15 นาที ไม่รวมเวลาอุ่นเครื่องอีก 5-10 นาที และเวลาผ่อนคลายหลังวิ่งอีก 5-10 นาที หากคิดเป็นระยะทาง คนท้องไม่ควรวิ่งเหยาะเกิน วันละ 2 ไมล์ สถานที่วิ่งควรเลือกทางวิ่งที่เรียบ ถ้าเป็นสนามหญ้าหรือพื้นดินได้จะยิ่งดี ทางวิ่งที่ แข็งหรือขรุขระ อาจทำให้เกิดอันตราย ถ้าอากาศร้อนร่วมกับความชื้นสูง ควรงด วิ่งในวันนั้น หากเดิน/วิ่งอย่างถูกต้องพอเหมาะพอดี จะเกิดผลดี ทำให้การตั้งครรภ์ดำเนินไป ได้อย่างปกติ สุขภาพแข็งแรง คลอดง่าย ลดภาวะแทรกซ้อนระหว่างการคลอด และฟื้นตัวหลังคลอดได้รวดเร็ว หากออกกำลังกายด้วยการวิ่งไม่ได้ ด้วยข้อจำกัด ต่างๆ ดังกล่าวข้างต้น ก็สามารถออกกำลังกายโดยวิธีอื่นๆ ได้แก่ การเดิน, การ ว่ายน้ำ, การปั่นจักรยานอยู่กับที่และ กายบริหาร เป็นต้น

ความงามของศิลปไทยเรานี้ก็งดงามไม่แพ้ชาติใดๆ ในโลก จากอดีตจนถึงปัจุบัน เหล่ากวีเอก จิตรกร หรือแม้กระทั่งช่างไทยหลากหมู่ ก็ได้ฝากผลงานไว้ให้เรา ประจักษ์กันมานักต่อนักแล้ว หลายต่อหลายชิ้นงานได้ถูกยอมรับถึงในระดับโลก ทัง้ นีก้ เ็ นือ่ งมาจากความอ่อนช้อยในการประดิษฐ์ ความบรรจงในการเขียน รวมไป ถึงจิตนาการอันไร้ขอบเขตของจิตรกรไทย จึงเป็นไปไม่ได้เลยที่คำกล่าวในประโยค แรกของย่อหน้าจะเกินเลยความเป็นจริง ภาพสัตว์หิมพานต์ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งในความภูมิใจของไทยเรา นอกเหนือจากความ งดงามของลวดลายบนภาพแล้วยังได้แสดงถึงพุทธจินตนาการด้วย คือการผสม ผสานความเชื่อในศาสนาเข้ากับงานศิลปะ บอกเล่าถึงเรื่องราวพุทธประวัติชาดก ไตรภูมิ รวมถึงวรรณกรรมอันเก่าแก่งดงามอีกด้วย ในเชิงศิลปะ สัตว์หมิ พานต์ได้ ถูกนำมาประยุกต์ใช้อย่างกว้างขวาง ไม่วา่ จะเป็นงานวาด รูปแกะสลัก หรือเครือ่ ง ประดับต่างๆ สั ต ว์ หิ ม พานต์ ไ ด้ ถู ก แบ่ ง ออกเป็ น 3กลุ่ ม ใหญ่ ๆ ได้ แ ก่ ประเภทสั ต ว์ ส องเท้ า (ทวิบาท), สี่เท้า (จตุบาท) และประเภทปลาที่อยู่ในน้ำ ที่รู้จักกันทั่วไปก็ยก ตัวอย่างเช่น ครุฑ นาค กินรี กินนร ฯลฯ และยังมีอีกแตกแขนงออกไปอีก มากมาย เราจะพบเห็ นได้ ทั่ วในทุ ก สายของงานศิ ล ปะไทย รวมไปถึ งในมหา วรรณกรรม รามเกียรติ์ ก็ยงั มีสตั ว์หมิ พานต์โลดแล่นปรากฎอยูม่ ากมาย เฉกเช่นเดียวกับสิง่ ของเครือ่ งใช้โบราณ อย่างเช่น เตียง ตัง่ เตียง ตูพ้ ระธรรม นัน้ ช่างไทยยังไม่วายจะนำลวดลายสัตว์หมิ พานต์มาผูกลายประดับกับลายไทย จนเกิด ความงามอ่อนช้อยน่าหลงใหล ทุกครัง้ ทีไ่ ด้สอดตามอง จนบางครัง้ ทำให้ตวั ข้าพเจ้า เองมานัง่ คิดว่า คุณปูท่ วดของเราสมัยนัน้ ไม่มที วี ี วิทยุฟงั ตอนอยูบ่ า้ น ท่านคงนัง่ อม ยิน้ ชืน่ ชมความอ่อนช้อยของลายไทยตามเครือ่ งเรือนรอบๆ ตัวอยูเ่ ป็นแน่เทียว แต่วันเวลาก็ไม่เคยหยุดนิ่ง จึงเป็นไปไม่ได้ที่จะหยุดการเปลี่ยนแปลงไม่ให้เกิดขึ้น งานศิลปะไทยก็เช่นกันที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปด้วย ถึงอย่างไรก็ตามแต่เพียงแค่เรา ชาวไทยทุกคนยังคงมีสติ ไม่ลมื เลือนภูมปิ ญ ั ญาของปูย่ า่ ตาทวด ยังไม่ลมื วัฒนธรรม อันยาวนาน ยังคงไว้ซึ่งหัวใจของความเป็นไทย ไม่ว่าเราจะไปอยู่มุมใดของโลก ก็ตาม เรายังคงเป็นไทย สวัสดีครับ พบกันใหม่ฉบับหน้าครับ The beauty of art in Thailand is equally as charming as anywhere in the world. From the past to present, poetic artists and all sorts of technicians

have left us many items to admire. Many of the Thai artefacts are known and accepted worldwide for its intricate work and detailed designs. The combination of graceful literature and limitless imagination of Thai artists proves that the first sentence of this paragraph is really not an exaggeration.

Himmapan creature/forest is one of Thai Buddhists’ proud creations.

That is not only because of its beauty but also because of the imaginative creation of Buddhism. It is an ideal combination of religion and art in which the legends tell us of the 3 series of mythical events and other ancient literature. In terms of art and craft, Himmapan creatures have been appropriated or remade in many art forms including paintings, carvings and accessories.

Himmapan creatures are differentiated into 3 groups, two-legged creatures (Twibaht), four-legged (Jatubaht) and water creatures such as King Serpents (Nark), Kinnaree (half women half bird) or Kinnorn (half man half bird) etc. These creatures are highly influential to Thai Buddhist art including the masterpiece of Ramayana which Himmapan creatures have appeared on an off throughout the story.

Furthermore, carvings of Himmapan creatures are found on many antique items such as silver utensils, beddings and religion bookshelves. Many of Thai olden day’s artists often include these creatures in traditional Thai printings on objects which made the items more admirable and fascinating. While looking at these items, it brings thoughts to my head of the time when our ancestors didn’t have television or radio and how they most probably spent hours admiring the delicacy of these printings on furniture and objects around their house.

Since time never stands still, it’s impossible to prevent changes, like art in Thailand that will always be shifting and changing. Be that as it may, as long as Thai people never forget the knowledge of those before we and our long lasting culture, no matter where you are in the world you will always remain a true Thai person. Ingredients 1 Salmon fillet or other type of fish or tofu (for vegetarian) ½ teaspoon Palo power (or five-spice powder) 3 cloves of Garlic A small hand full of Coriander A pinch of Black Pepper Black Soy Sauce (not necessary) Brown Sugar Light Soy Sauce Salt Oil for frying Fish Sauce

Dry Salmon Palo Ingredients Slice salmon fillet into small cubes. Be careful not to make them too small, they may crumble when stirring. Marinade the salmon pieces in salt water to rid the fishy smell.

Crush and mix garlic, coriander and black pepper in a grinding bowl.

Move garlic-coriander-pepper mix onto the greased frying pan.

Gentle fry the herbs until they start giving out a nice smell then add Palo/five-spice powder, mix well. Add your some flavouring, should be salty and sweet, and then add the salmon pieces.

Quickly mix the salmon pieces with the herbal paste on the pan.

Wait for the salmon on one side to cook then flip them over to cook the other side. Add some water to the pan (same amount as salmon fillet) then gently stir.

Pour the stew into a stew pot. Leave on moderate heat for 15 minutes. Add more flavours to your liking.

Serve hot with rice.

รอยสยาม วัฒนธรรมของไทยเพื่อเอาใจผู้อ่านที่สนใจและต้องการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมไทยของเราไว้ ให้ชนรุ่นหลังได้เรียนรู้ มรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของชาติมีหลายสิ่งหลายอย่างที่เป็นเครื่อง ชี้ให้เห็นถึงความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของไทยที่มีมาช้านาน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องอาหารการกิน เครื่องนุ่งห่ม ศิลปวัตถุ สถาปัตยกรรม หรือแม้กระทั่ง สัตว์เลี้ยงที่เกี่ยวพันกับวิถีชีวิต และความเป็นอยู่ของคนไทยมาตั้งแต่อดีต พระเอกของเรื่องที่เราจะกล่าวถึงในฉบับนี้ คงหนีไม่พ้น สุนัขพันธุ์ไทยหลังอานและพันธุ์บางแก้ว น้องหมาไทยหลังอานและบางแก้วนั้น ถึงแม้ชื่อจะฟังดูเชย ไม่น่ารัก และอินเทรนด์ เหมือนกับ พุดเดิ้ล สุนัขสายพันธุ์ยุโรป แต่ก็ได้รับการยกย่องให้เป็น “มรดกทาง วัฒนธรรมที่มีชีวิตของชาติไทย” ซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีทั่วโลก โดยมีการติดต่อสั่งซื้อพันธุ์ ไปเพาะเลี้ยงไกลถึงต่างประเทศเลยทีเดียวค่ะ ลักษณะเด่นและเสน่ห์ของน้องหมาไทย หลังอานคือ ขนสั้นเรียบที่ขึ้นย้อนแนว ทอดจากซ้ายขึ้นไปตามแนวเส้นหลัง มีรูปทรง ต่างๆ เช่น อานใบโพธิ์ อานพิณ และ อานม้า เป็นต้น จัดอยู่ในกลุ่มสุนัขล่าเนื้อ จาก หลักฐานในสมุดข่อยโบราณในยุคสมัยของพระเจ้าทรงธรรม ซึ่งเป็นเวลาเกือบ 400 ปี มาแล้ว มีข้อความกล่าวถึงสุนัขไทยในยุคสมัยนั้น ซึ่งลักษณะที่ได้บรรยายไว้มีความ ใกล้เคียงกับน้องหมาไทยหลังอานในยุคปัจจุบันของเราค่อนข้างมาก โดยเฉพาะความ พิเศษของขนบนหลังที่ขึ้นย้อนแนวและความสามารถในการช่วยเจ้าของออกป่าล่าสัตว์

จากหลักฐานดังกล่าวเราจึงสามารถพิสูจน์ได้ว่า น้องหมาไทยหลังอานของเราเคยอยู่คู่ กับคนไทยมาตั้งแต่สมัยโบราณกาลเลยทีเดียว พระเอกอีกตัวที่มีความสำาคัญไม่น้อยหน้า ก็คือ น้องหมาไทยบางแก้ว ซึ่งเป็นสุนัขพันธุ์ ไทยที่มีขนปุย หนานุ่ม ลักษณะภายนอกมีความสง่างาม ว่องไวและแข็งแรง จัดอยู่ ในกลุ่มสุนัขเฝ้าบ้าน เห็นหน้าตาอินเตอร์อย่างนี้ แต่น้องหมาบางแก้วมีถิ่นกำาเนิดอยู่ ที่อำาเภอบางระกำา จังหวัดพิษณุโลก เมืองไทยเรานี่เองค่ะ ชาวบ้านในละแวกนั้นนิยม เลี้ยงน้องหมาบางแก้วไว้ช่วยเฝ้าบ้าน เฝ้าวัวควาย เนื่องจากได้ยินกิตติศัพท์ในความดุ ที่เลื่องชื่อ และจากข้อมูลทางวิทยาศาสตร์พบว่า น้องหมาบางแก้วนั้นมีโครโมโซมของ สุนัขจิ้งจอกปะปนอยู่หน้าตาจึงออกมาเป็นลูกครึ่งอย่างที่เห็น ซึ่งก็ตรงกับข้อสันนิษฐาน ของชาวบ้านอำาเภอบางระกำาที่ว่า มีสุนัขจิ้งจอกและหมาในตัวผู้มาแอบลักลอบเข้าผสม พันธุ์กับสุนัขไทยตัวเมียที่เลี้ยงไว้ในวัดบางแก้ว จังหวัดพิษณุโลกนั่นเอง ในปัจจุบัน แม้น้องหมาบางแก้วจะไม่ได้ถูกเลี้ยงไว้เพื่อเฝ้าวัวควายของชาวบ้านอีกต่อ ไป และน้องหมาไทยหลังอานจะไม่ได้ทำาหน้าที่ในการออกป่าล่าสัตว์ เช่นในอดีตแล้ว ก็ตาม แต่มรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีชีวิตเหล่านี้ยังคงให้คุณค่าทางใจแก่เจ้าของและยัง แสดงให้ชาวต่างชาติรู้ว่า เมืองไทยของเรามีประวัติความเป็นมาและมีวิถีชีวิตความเป็น อยู่อย่างไร หากผู้อ่านท่านใดมีโอกาสได้ชมภาพยนตร์ไทยเรื่องมะหมา 4 ขา ซึ่งเป็นภาพยนตร์ เกี่ยวกับหมาข้างถนนที่มีน้องหมาพันธุ์ไทยหลังอาน ชื่อ “มะขาม” เป็นตัวดำาเนินเรื่อง ก็คงพอจะทราบถึงความฉลาดและความ น่ารักของมรดกไทยตัวนี้ น่าชื่นใจที่ สื่อภาพยนตร์บ้านเรา ยังเล็งเห็นความ สำาคัญของวัฒนธรรมไทยและนำามาเผย แพร่ให้เราได้ชมกัน ผู้เขียนเชื่อว่าสื่อที่ ดีจะเป็นแหล่งความรู้อีกแขนงหนึ่งที่จะ ช่วยส่งเสริมและอนุรักษ์มรดกของชาติ ไว้ได้ เช่นเดียวกับคุณผู้อ่านที่กำาลังทำา หน้าที่อย่างเดียวกันนี้ เช่นกัน Page 18

Melbourne’s Precincts Series 3 ย่านต่าง ๆ ของเมลเบิร์น ตอนที่ 3 We introduced Chinatown in our last issue and we will introduce you to two other famous precincts of Melbourne which are Collins and Little Collins Streets and Docklands Precincts.

When mention Collins Street, it means style and glamour. It’s a boulevard lined with gracious plane trees of chic designer shopping, five-star hotels, exclusive jewellers, grand heritage buildings and private clubs. It’s also the city’s premier home to big corporations and the stock exchange.

Apart from those described, flagship stores include Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Tiffany & Co and Louis Vuitton, are all situated in this prestigious location. A more relaxed shopping style can be found further west of the streets, in the mid section of Collins Street between Swanston and Elizabeth streets.

The City Museum at Old Treasury, one of Australia’s finest 19th century buildings, is on Spring Street at the top end of Collins Street, and tells the story of Melbourne’s development.

Little Collins Street houses haute couture to hip culture and is where the streetwise head to shop. This is where some of Melbourne’s most interesting designers and boutiques are situated. The stretch between Swanston and Russell streets is lined with the best in menswear while Howey Place is from where you can shop the fabulous local designer fashions.

under repair. A large centre from Canada, Cosco is a large wholesale store where members can bulk buy their everyday goods in wholesale price tags. Another venue, Harbour Town shopping centre, houses Melbourne’s largest public marina, with restaurants, bars and events all year round.

Melbourne is the home of Australian Football League (AFL). On the match days

you’ll see many locals proudly wearing or waving their team’s colours, on their way to a game at the Etihad Stadium on Harbour Esplanade.

The huge crowds add to a welcoming family atmosphere as they congregate on the modern Docklands area.

(ตื่น)เต้นไปกับรายชื่ออาชีพที่อยู่ในความต้องการของออสเตรเลีย - ฉบับใหม่ จำาได้ใช่ไหมครับว่าเมื่อต้นปี วันที่ 8 ก.พ ที่ผ่านมาทางอิมมิเกรชั่นได้ประกาศยกเลิก รายชื่ออาชีพที่เป็นที่ต้องการอย่างสูง (MODL) และบอกว่าจะประกาศบัญชีรายชื่อ อาชีพที่อยู่ในความต้องการของออสเตรเลีย (SOL)ขึ้นใหม่ ตอนนี้ก็ได้เผยออกมาให้ ปวดใจแล้วเรียบร้อยและจะเริ่มใช้จริงตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2553เป็นต้นไป บัญชีรายชื่อฉบับใหม่นี้ได้หั่นอาชีพต่างๆออกไปซะเกินครึ่ง(จาก 400 เหลือเพียง 181 โห...) แม้แต่อาชีพท็อปฮิตหลายสมัยอย่างกุ๊ก เชฟ และช่างทำาผมก็ไม่เหลือ ว่ากัน ว่ารายชื่อใหม่นี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการวางแผนปฏิรูปที่สะท้อนให้เห็นวัตถุประสงค์ของ รัฐบาลที่จะรับผู้อพยพประเภททักษะที่ตรงกับความต้องการของตลาดแรงงานจริงๆ รายชื่อเหล่านี้ไม่ใช่มาจากการจับฉลากนะครับ แต่ได้จากข้อแนะนำาขององค์กรอิสระ ของรัฐบาลที่ชื่อ Skills Australia องค์กรนี้มีหน้าที่ให้คำาปรึกษาเกี่ยวกับเรื่องความ ต้องการแรงงานที่มีทักษะและการพัฒนาแรงงานทั้งในปัจจุบัน ในอนาคต และใน ยามฉุกเฉิน จากบัญชีรายชื่อใหม่นี้นะครับ รัฐบาลคาดว่าจะทำาให้มีการลดจำานวน ของผู้สมัครด้วยตัวเองแต่จะเพิ่มจำานวนในผู้สมัครประเภทที่มีนายจ้างสปอนเซอร์ ซึ่ง เป็นสิ่งที่ตรงกับความต้องการจริง เพราะคนที่เข้ามาก็จะมีงานทำา และนายจ้างก็ได้ ลูกจ้างสมประสงค์ ส่วนโปรแกรมGSM ก็จะไปเน้นในทักษะที่จะนำาไปสู่ความเจริญ และพัฒนาการของประเทศ ซึ่งได้แก่อาชีพผู้บริหาร ผู้ประกอบวีชาชีพหรือสาขาที่ เกี่ยวข้องและสายอาชีวะต่างๆ ทั้งยังย้ำาด้วยว่าบัญชีรายชื่อนี้จะมีการทบทวนปีละ ครั้ง แต่คงไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงมโหฬารอย่างคราวนี้ สำาหรับผู้ที่อยู่ในช่วงคาบเกี่ยวที่ได้รับ

การอนุโลมก็จะไม่มีผลกระทบแต่อย่างใดนะครับ บัญชีรายชื่อใหม่จะไม่มีผลบังคับใช้กับผู้สมัครที่ (ณวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553): 1. ถือวีซ่า485(TR)อยู่ หรือกำาลังรอผลการขอวีซ่า485(TR) หรือผู้ที่สมัครขอวีซ่าแบบ ทักษะทั้งแบบชั่วคราวและถาวรในออสเตรเลียไม่เกินวันที่ 31ธันวาคม 2555 2.กำาลังรอผลการขอวีซ่าประเภท GSM อยู่ นักเรียนต่างชาติที่ถือวีซ่าประเภท 572 (ระดับ Certificate – Adv Diploma), 573 (ระดับ Higher Education), หรือ 574 (ระดับ Postgraduate Research) ในวันประกาศ จะถูกจัดให้อยู่ในกลุ่มที่อยู่ในช่วงคาบเกี่ยว ซึ่งไม่มีผลกระทบจากบัญชี รายชื่อใหม่และยังสามารถสมัครวีซ่าประเภท 485(TR) โดยใช้บัญชีรายชื่ออันเก่าได้ จนถึงวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2555 การเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้ดูเหมือนจะทำาให้เป็นเรื่องยากขึ้นสำาหรับนักเรียนที่เลือกคอร์สเรียน แล้วหวังจะสมัครเป็นพลเมืองถาวร เนื่องจากบัญชีรายชื่ออาชีพอาจเปลี่ยนแปลงไป เรื่อยๆ เพราะรัฐบาลต้องการให้การอพยพเข้าเมืองแบบใช้ทักษะได้ปรับเปลี่ยนไปตาม สภาพของเศรษฐกิจและตลาดแรงงานของออสเตรเลีย แต่ก็ไม่ต้องทุกข์ระทมให้มากไปหรอกนะครับ ผู้ที่ไม่มีคุณสมบัติที่จะสมัครวีซ่าด้วยตัว เองก็อาจจะยังสมัครวีซ่าประเภทอื่นได้ กระซิบบอกต่อได้เลยว่าตอนนี้อิมมิเกรชั่นกำา ลังให้ความสำาคัญกับวีซ่าที่มีรัฐหรือนายจ้างสปอนเซอร์เป็นอันดับแรกและรายชื่ออาชีพ ที่เรียกว่า Employer Nomination Scheme Occupation List (ENSOL) ก็ไม่ได้ มีการเปลี่ยนแปลง พวกเราน่าจะหันมาปิ๊งกับทางเลือกนี้ให้มากขึ้นนะครับ

น้องๆทราบไหมคะว่าที่ออสเตรเลียน่ะ ถ้าใครเลี้ยงสัตว์แล้วไม่ให้การดูแลอย่างเพียง พอในเรื่องของการให้อาหาร น้ำา ที่อยู่ การออกกำาลังกาย หรือปล่อยให้ได้รับความเจ็บ ปวดทรมานหรือถูกทำาร้าย ถือว่าผิดกฏหมาย อาจถูกปรับหรือติดคุกได้ !! ผู้ที่ได้มาอยู่ที่ออสเตรเลียซักระยะหนึ่งจะรู้ว่าคนที่นี่รักธรรมชาติและสัตว์เลี้ยง เขาจะ ให้การดูแลสัตว์เลี้ยงอย่างถูกสุขลักษณะ มีการพาไปตรวจเช็คร่างกาย ฉีดวัคซีน มีเมนู อาหารเสื้อผ้าและของเล่นหลากหลายชนิดให้ไม่แพ้มนุษย์เลยทีเดียว บางคนเปิดแอร์ไว้ ให้หมาตอนไปทำางาน(พี่ดาก็เป็นหนึ่งในนั้นจ้ะ) บางคนถึงกับทำาพินัยกรรมยกสมบัติ เป็นกุรุสให้สุนัขตัวโปรดเลยทีเดียว สัตว์เลี้ยงบางตัวแสนจะกตัญญูและรักเจ้าของมาก มีการวิจัยทดลองที่บ่งชี้ว่าเด็กๆที่มีสัตว์เลี้ยงและได้มีส่วนร่วมในการเลี้ยงสัตว์ จะเป็น เด็กที่เติบโตมาด้วยจิตใจเมตตาและอ่อนโยน และที่แน่ๆการมีสัตว์ลี้ยงที่น่ารักนั้น ช่วย ให้เพลิดเพลินหายเหงาและมีความสุขจริงๆ วันนี้พี่ดาขอแนะนำาคอร์สที่น่าจะเป็นประโยชน์สำาหรับผู้ที่ชอบสัตว์ Bachelor of Veterinary Science เป็นหนึ่งในคอร์สที่หลายคนบอกว่าเรียนยาก จบมาแล้ว เรียกว่าVeterinarianหรือเรียกย่อๆว่า Vet(สัตวแพทย์) วิชาชีพหนึ่งที่ขาดแคลนใน ออสเตรเลีย ก็อย่างที่บอกนั่นแหละ เพราะสัตว์เลี้ยงที่นี่มีความหมายมาก วิชานี้ส่วน ใหญ่จะสอนเกี่ยวกับความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ในการป้องกันและรักษาอาการเจ็บป่วย ของสัตว์ เรียนรู้เรื่องชีววิทยาและสรีรวิทยาของสัตว์ สวัสดิการเกี่ยวกับสัตว์ การเพาะ พันธุ์ การรักษาด้วยยา การวินิจฉัยโรค การบำาบัดอาการเจ็บป่วยของสัตว์ ไม่ว่าสัตว์ นั้นจะเป็นสัตว์เลี้ยงที่บ้าน สัตว์ป่า หรือสัตว์ที่ถูกเพาะพันธุ์ขึ้นมาในโรงงาน การป้องกัน ชีวิตสัตว์และการป้องกันการแพร่กระจายของโรคติดต่อในสัตว์ทุกชนิด สัตวแพทย์มี บทบาทสำาคัญต่อสุขภาพของคนเพราะทำาหน้าที่เฝ้าระวังไม่ให้เชื้อโรคแพร่กระจายจาก สัตว์มาสู่คนอย่างเช่นไข้หวัดนกเป็นต้น คอร์สนี้ใช้เวลาเรียน 4-5 ปี ค่าเรียนตั้งแต่ $45,000 ถึง 70,000 ต่อปีแล้วแต่สถาบันที่สอน ถึงจะแพงแต่เรียนจบแล้วคุ้ม หางาน ทำาได้ไม่ยากเพราะอาชีพนี้เป็นที่ต้องการไปทั่ว โดยเฉพาะที่ออสเตรเลียนะคะ

Today I would like to introduce you to this kind of friends…our real friends… ผมชื่อ อาบี๋ เป็นปั๊กอายุ1ขวบ ส่วน ตัวดำๆเธอชื่อ บริทนีย์ เป็นปั๊กเหมือน กันอายุ 9เดือน..ผมเป็นหมาร่าเริง ขี้ เล่ น แต่ ค่ อ นข้ า งดื้ อ และหั ว รั้ น เลยที เดียว ส่วนบริทนีย์ ขี้อ้อน ชอบให้คน อื่ น หอม กอด แต่ บ างที เ ธอก็ ช อบ ทำตัวน่าหมั่นไส้ จนเจ้านายผมเรียก เธอว่า หมาโรคจิต เราทั้งสองชอบกิน เนื้ อ ทุ ก ชนิ ดไม่ ว่ า จะเป็ นไก่ ย่ า ง เนื้ อ ทอด หมู ต้ ม .....แต่ บ ริ ท นี ย์ มี ค วาม สามารถพิ เ ศษคื อ เธอสามารถกิ น พริก ข้ อ สำคั ญ คื อ ห้ า มให้ ผ มกิ น หวาน ห้ามกินองุ่น หอมใหญ่ โดยเด็ดขาด... และห้ามทำให้บริทนีย์ตกใจ เพราะเธอ จะวิ่งหนีไปด้วยและฉี่ราดไปด้วย ค่า เลี้ยงดูต่อเดือน สองตัว $40 ชื่อ แมกซี่ เป็น ผู้ชายค้าบ อายุ 2 ขวบ (แต่ขนาดตัวใหญ่กว่าเยอะ) ผม มาจากตระกู ล King Charle spaniel ฮะ ส่วนตัวเป็นหมา ขี้เหงา ขี้อ้อน โลกส่วนตัวสูง รักความสะอาด อ้วน กำลังพยายามลดน้ำหนักอยู่ ผม ไม่ค่อยชอบให้พี่เลี้ยงผม ตะโกนใส่ผม แรงๆ นะ มั น ไม่ nice เลยฮะ เพราะผมขี้ตกใจ ปกติเวลาผมอารมณ์ ดีก็จะชอบ ซบ ซบ ซบ แล้วก็บอกว่า “เค้ารักตะเองน้า.... ขอลูกอมหน่อย” โดนชมบ่ อ ยฮะ ว่ า เป็ น หมาอ่ อ นโยน

By DJ Pung The name Prim Pranpanut to many readers may not sound familiar. However, it is the name of a girl with a voice that is music to our ears. What if we were to tell you that it is in fact the full name of Zai Fahrenheit, then you’d most likely know who we’re talking about. Zai was introduced as a singer of a rock band known as “Fahrenheit” with “More Music” record company. With the popularity of rock music at the time, and her distinctive and powerful voice, Zai’s career as a singer has flourished. Let’s go back to the year 2005, the record label GMM released a single “Kard Kard Gern Gern”, a heavy rock song that stole the hearts of teenagers, for us to enjoy as a appetiser. Then not long after another single, which has made Fahrenheit well known to the music industry was released, called “Pid Mai” a slow song that takes your breath away with it’s beautiful sound from both instruments and vocals. Not only

producing albums with the band, Zai also produced songs for TV programs and movies. The latest song “Hua Jai Trong Gun” was a big hit along with the movie that it was written for, starring An and Ken who have increased the ratings for both the song and the movie.

Today Zai has given us a surprise with a new look and a different style of music in her first solo album titled “Zai Electrolaxy”. This album contains covers of classics from the 60’s – 70’s in an Acid Jazz style in a way you have never heard them before. If you are a fan of “The Beatles” you have to hear “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” in Zai’s version, it is a tender and soft cover which is said to be as lovely as the George Harrison’s (The Beatles bassist) version. “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” music video has been released on television programs and on the internet, and has Zai as the lead actress. We were told that to

film this video, the singer had to be hung from a harness and a rope for so long, that her body ended up sore and bruised.

In terms of the quality of music, this album is a step up that continues to grow with more nerve and guts of the talented singer Zai also known as Prim Pranpanut. This album is another choice for all listeners to pick up and have a listen to. If you catch a glimpse of this album you may see it as another Jazz album that changed the theme of Zai but if you have a close listen to it you will see that the singer definitely has not lost her rock spirit.

This makes it impossible to deny the charisma and the individuality of Zai Fahrenheit, who has been catching the attention of rocker fans all around the country.
