The detailed area is mainly for the elders in

the family. The lounge is divided into a seating space and workspace. Considering the nature and activities of the owner and his wife, the space has been renovated.

SHELF DESIGN

To design a shelf unit for household purpose and understand the basics of strucures, working of material and joinery. The unit must be stable enough to hold weight and must satisfy the needs of material as well as the user. MATERIAL5mm Metal Flats/ 18mm Rubberwood.

This structure has used joineries and hence is stable on its own. For mounting purposes, the brackets have been made with MS flat for stability and rigidity.

DESIGN BRIEFAs a part of material exploration, a seating device had to be made using the given material.Here, the seat serves as a Paat(in marathi) as well as a swing once a chain is attached. (18mm MDF/12mm Plywood/ MS rods)
