MALL OF QATARSCHOOL PROJECT
This school project was a part of the entertainment phase of the Mall of Qatar project. I was part of the concept team and this project made me dive into the design and drawings of the school. I was part of the initial planning design and soon was able to develop some final interior drawing details for this project. The transformation of the program diagram into tangible forms takes its cue from the basic idea of building blocks. Building blocks are rudimentary shape toys that enable children to develop spatial skills as well as creative and divergent problem solving skills. The same conceptual approach physically manifests the program in the form of building blocks, which faciliate program grouping and arrangement.
