about
KAIROS is a collaborative visual chronicle forged among friends who are engaged in this journey of self affirmation that most people call photography. Somehow in this journey these friends stumble upon a common joint only to find out that the road ahead and the road just taken is one and the same self they go about in every conscious living existence of their individual lives.
When we are what we see, we then re create a mirror of our own visions through the medium of photography. And through that opportune moment we capture time and space in a frame of our blissful heartbeat. This is KAIROS. This is what we seek. Worlds apart through an imaginary space. As we summon the imagined, we become one. Yes, almost a year from initial conception of Kairos, we hereby present to you the first ever edition of what this joint effort looks like more or less. Undress your inhibitions and ride through. Kairos on! Anwrdn Macaraig Editor

No other animal has its elegance, grace and power. Kings, queens and knights have each been known to have their favorite horses. You can't say the same about a cow.

Masked cowboy heroes won't be who they are without their trusted steeds. And two of the most iconic luxury sports cars have the went as far as putting the horse on their logos. And if your talking about the right breed, it could be the most expensive animal you can spend your money on.

My love affair with horses began at an early age. My mom and dad were usually aksed by the school principal to come because I would be caught...

I don't recall much how they made me quit that and I thought I have outrgrown my obsession with the animal until after a year ago when I took a photograph of a horse's rear beside a tree with a blue wall background.

Hobby Fishing for Food A MIX of weekend hobbyists and nearby residents using rod and reel, a plain reel or just a line spend some time trying to hook talakitok, snapper and groupers.. for food - at the place where the Cagayan River meets the South China Sea... taken at the afternoon where the sun was harsh. I tried to capture and process as my eyes had seen these, squinting against the glare. A lot of overblown highlights, especially those facing the sun.

Kairos / Ed. 1, Vol. I
Corregidor, an almost uninhabited island situated not too far away from Metro Manila. Tourists come and go on the island for different reasons, some are interested in the island's history and its connections to war periods, some wanted a quick getaway from the city noise, while others fancy the idea of ghost hunting.

Whatever reason one may have for being on the island will always be connected to another person's reason. All those reasons are being interconnected by the world people violate the moment they speak of it... Silence...

Corregidor, an island populated by museums and memorials acting storytellers of the island's history; Trees and bodies of water striking a deafening hymn of its own; Barracks, abandoned batteries and tunnels that envelopes its visitors with coldness and echoes to trick their senses.
