Shift the Conversation Networking Lunches on June 3rd 12:05 – 1:15 p.m. Connect with one or two other people or have a group conversation. Networking lunches are informal opportunities to get to know a few people. Buffet style food tables will be available outside the rooms with special meals by the Grand Ballroom. The networking topics were chosen by conference participants. If a room is full please move to another room. You can host a small networking group by selecting a table in the Grand York Ballroom and requesting an announcement in the morning of day 2.

There are 4 questions posted in all the networking rooms to support the conversation shift. 1. What is working well with your efforts to shift the conversation toward a complete sense of health and wellbeing, for individuals, families and entire communities? 2. What challenges are you having and how are you overcoming them? 3. What changes need to happen at a local, regional and provincial level? 4. What insights and lessons are you learning and what tools are you using to make the shifts?

Canadian Index of Wellbeing (CIW) Network Mapping at the Shift the Conversation Café The Canadian Index of Wellbeing (CIW) is a big picture tool that helps give a comprehensive overview of the various factors that impact the health and wellbeing of individuals, their families and communities, beyond economic measures like Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The CIW looks at how people are really doing in respect to living standards, healthy populations, community vitality, education, time use, democratic engagement, leisure and culture, and the environment and plays a pivotal role in making the shift to an integrated community health and wellbeing system. Join Health Nexus, the CIW National Office, and the AOHC’s CIW Project team at the CIW Network Mapping installation at the Shift the Conversation Café as we create a digital map showing how working with the CIW’s eight domains can forge new partnerships and collaborations around community health and wellbeing. Which of the domains do you work in? Are you engaging and leveraging multiple community perspectives when implementing your initiatives? View a snapshot of your partnerships and uncover potential new sectors and connectors in the community to build and amplify your reach by applying the eight domains of the CIW as the framework. Stop by the café to learn more about how community health organizations are applying the CIW in a variety of innovative ways and make sure to visit www.communityhealthandwellbeing.org
