Job title and duties: Owner of Fabric and Fine Furnishings in Greenville’s Arlington Village, providing residential and commercial design services. Completed projects include: Dr. Bowman and Padgetts new ofce, renovation of Aldridge and Southerland ofces, the interior of Soco Restaurant, and Murphy and Bunch CPA ofces. A design ofce is planned in Morehead City to serve coastal clients.

Duties include:

• Management of design staf • Buying inventory – fabric, furniture and accessories • Interior Designer – working with clients daily to transform their homes • Housekeeper (joys of business ownership) • Keeping our sales foor merchandised and organized

Family - I am blessed to be the mother of our son, DJ Pendry, and the wife to my awesome business partner, Dale Pendry, plus stepmom to two amazing, super successful daughters, Ashley and Emily. I am also the proud grandmother of three boys, Michael Connley age 16, and twin grandsons Adam and Michael Boyles, age 13, all of High Point. Our customers all miss Lacy, who was our golden retriever greeter for over 13 years. She had big paws to fll, but I am now the mom of a sweet and wild 2-year-old golden named Ruby. I have two sisters in Charlotte, who I miss daily, my precious mother Carolyn Horne and lots of nieces and nephews.

Favorite piece of Furniture/ décor item and

why - My frst answer would have to be drapery. No matter what else is going on in a home, fabric and the right window treatment can transform and complete any room. The perfect sofa is my second choice. A comfy, family-friendly sofa becomes the center of the home.

Style icon - This may sound strange, but I really don’t have one. I guess my desire and ability to get to know my clients and create exactly what they describe has kept me very open to each challenge. When your client base changes from ocean-front homes to a precious farmhouse in the country in the same day, you just adapt and learn to transform each space.
