GOLF COURSES Our gorgeous year-around weather creates the perfect setting for golf. Enjoy lush greens, fully stocked pro-shops and picturesque club houses at our eight challenging courses throughout the county. Carolina Crossing Golf Club

Spring Lake Country Club

294 N. Shiloh Road, York, SC PH: 803.684.5878 Carolina Crossing is an 18-hole semi-private golf course. The course itself offers a challenging layout in a park-like setting.

1375 Springlake Road, York PH: 803.684.4898 This course is primarily flat, but there is an occasional hill that can cause uneven lies. The greens are large, and the fairways are narrow. The signature hole is #9, a 351-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot over water to the green.

Fort Mill Golf Club 101 Country Club Drive, Fort Mill PH: 803.547.2044 • playfortmill.com The front nine of this Leroy Springs & Company, Inc., golf course was designed by legendary architect Donald Ross in 1947. The back nine, designed by George Cobb, was opened 12 years later. An extensive renovation of the course under the direction of Clyde Johnston was completed in September 2009. The greens were changed to heat resistant MiniVerde Bermuda.

Pinetuck Golf Course 2578 Tuckaway Road, Rock Hill PH: 803.327.1141 This 150-acre course, which is framed by trees and occupied by several species of wild game, is unique. The signature hole is #17, a 178-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a lake that guards the front of the twotiered green.

Regent Park Golf Club 5055 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill PH: 803.547.1300 • www.regentparkgolfclub.com The lush green, 256-acre setting offers a challenging, but fair, golf experience for men and women at all skill levels. The scenic 18-hole course straddles two states and meanders through three counties.

Springfield Golf Club 639 Hambly House Lane, Fort Mill PH: 803.548.3318 TF: 866.304.GOLF (4653) playspringfield.com The Clyde Johnston-designed course harkens back to the traditional schemes of the 1920s and the Golf Age of Architecture in golf. Its 6,906 yards are located on a heavily wooded, hilly site, with four holes flanking Sugar Creek––affording spectacular views––and 13 holes playing across and along perennial streams that feed the Catawba River.

The Tega Cay Golf Club One Molokai Drive (I-77, exit 88), Tega Cay PH: 803.548.3500 • www.tegacaygolfclub.com With 27 holes of challenging golf, there is just enough length to keep your attention as you enjoy the mountainous changes of elevation. The Grande View Nine is the newest of the three but come early and play all 27. The course is always in excellent condition and tee times are recommended.

Waterford Golf Club 1900 Clubhouse Road, Rock Hill PH: 803.324.0300 • www.thelinksatwaterford.com Waterford Golf Club is a beautiful championship course designed by three time U.S. Open Champion, Hale Irwin. Lake Wylie and Ebenezer Park 4490 Boatshore Road, Rock Hill PH: 803.366.6620 • www.yorkcountygov.com Water recreation is an integral life-style of York County. With 325 miles of shoreline, Lake Wylie is ideal for boating, fishing, water skiing and sailing. Since portions of this lake lie in both North and South Carolina, fishermen are advised to obtain proper licenses. The temperate, yet wonderfully distinct, seasonal changes not only enhance the area's beauty, but also afford year-round enjoyment of outdoor pastimes. Pack a picnic and watch the sunset from lakeside shelters or take to the lake for fishing and recreational boating. Stay overnight at one of Ebenezer Park’s campsights, or launch a canoe from River Park.
