BILL & KIM SNIDER ASIA PACIFIC MEDIA
A Heart to Bring Hope to the Philippines In the 29 year history of AP Media, the Philippines has been our ministry home, and it’s become home to Kim and me. Each day our hearts stay focused on bringing Christcentered answers to relevant, real-life issues, to see His Message, Multiplied through digital messages. Our prayer is to reach and restore people in this beautiful country, as well as Southeast Asia through the love of Jesus Christ. During the last few months, news reports from the Philippines have focused on the governments war on drugs. The results of this war are thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands who are bound by drugs desperate to make a change. The Philippine government is asking the Church to respond to this crisis, and Asia Pacific Media already has some video resources for the church to use. We want to create more. Your faithful prayer and steady monthly support are critically needed as we engage this opportunity while not losing sight of the ministry’s momentum in other countries like Myanmar and Indonesia and in the Middle East. Can you imagine the potential of thousands of people receiving a strong message of the gospel as the Church works with those who are seeking help? The opportunity is here: and we are poised on the front lines for such a time as this. Thank you for your heart to bring hope through the life-changing power of Jesus Christ—the source of true freedom. February/March 2017 e-Issue [3.]

“GREATER LOVE HAS NO ONE THAN THIS: TO LAY DOWN ONE’S LIFE FOR ONE’S FRIENDS.” —JOHN 15:13 (NIV) —
A Month of Love In the United States, February 14 is Valentine’s Day. In The Philippines, we call the whole month of February, Love Month. Rather than it being Valentine’s Day, the whole month focuses on love, family, and relationships. Many years ago at AP Media, we saw that family and relationships were a key launching point to bring the good news into people’s lives. Could I ask you as you read through this issue to prayerfully consider giving an additional Love Month offering on top of your normal monthly commitment? Every $1 will be multiplied to help AP Media team members like JayR Manalo (pictured on the left with wife Dimple) produce resources to reach families in crisis—who are hurting, estranged, separated and sometimes deeply scarred. See page 21 for details.

LoveXMultiplied In the dance of life, everyone makes mistakes, but there is HOPE! That hope is found in Jesus Christ , whose sacrificial love for us covers a multitude of sin! “The Dance,” which is the latest DigiTracts release from AP Media, is timed perfectly with the February’s Love Month celebration in the Philippines. We created “The Dance” to speak about God’s love for everyone of us, regardless of our sin or struggles. DigiTracts are short video clips geared toward engaging youth in Asia Pacific with God’s Word, These clips are designed for viewing and sharing online. They are great discussion starters for social media and small groups, which can easily be shared using mobile technology. “The Dance” is available in Bahasa for Indonesia, English for western audiences, and Chinese, as well as Tagalog for the Philippines. Since its release, “The Dance” has received over 30,000 views on social media and is currently available as a free download for churches to use in their services. [8.] AP Media MISSION / apmedia.org

HIS MESSAGE, ACCESSIBLE Digital technology is making the Truth more accessible than ever before. With a focus on multiplying the reach of His message, our team is always searching for opportunities to make resources available in multiple languages, readily available via the web, and adaptable to desktop, smartphone and tablet platforms. This year, with the operational support of AP Media partners like you, we have produced digital download versions of all of our videos. Many of our downloadable resources can now be accessed by churches and individuals for free or at a reduced cost Not only is this a cost-effective way of distribution, it also helps us get the message of hope in Jesus Christ to many people who have yet to hear His name even once.

Celebrating a Milestone FOR THE WORK IN CHINA! —from Bill Snider—
For almost 20 years, I have had the privilege of working with AP Media China, first as a consultant and then as the director. On January 23, I was honored to turn over the leadership of AP Media China to Rev. Stephen Huang, a gifted minister who has many years of experience in media. The ceremony and program were witnessed by Taiwan District Assemblies of God leaders, AG World Missions (AGWM) missionaries based in Taiwan and also the AP Media China team. AP Media and our team in Manila will continue to serve as consultants and assist this group as needed, in training or in production projects. But the direction and development is now in the hands of local leadership. We are thankful to this new leadership and excited to see where God is taking AP Media China!

Sharing the Love FOR MOMS AND M.I.P. MAGAZINES! —from Marycris World Mission Church — General Trias, Cavite, Philippines “For our Sunday Morning Worship service we placed the new issues of the magazines in the seats so all members could get copies to take home and read. Thank you, Asia Pacific Media Ministries, for sharing MOMS & Men In Progress (M.I.P.) magazines with usđ&#x;˜ƒ. God bless your mission.â€? MOMS and M.I.P. magazines, produced by AP Media, are providing answers to great challenges Filipino parents face. Many mothers and fathers who work overseas or in other nations as domestic helpers are forced to parent their children through short text messages. These children grow up without the nurture of a mother or the presence of a strong role model for a father. Click here to read the latest issue of MOMS and M.I.P. magazines online. Thank you, Asia Pacific Media, FOR TACKLING TOUGH TEEN ISSUES! —from Dorena Martillano—
“I learned about Asia Pacific Media Ministries from my teacher in Educational Technology. One of the class requirements is to watch a video from Asia Pacific Media Ministries. I chose “Baby” (from the Usapang Pamilya Video Series), dealing with the subject of teen pregnancy. It is very relevant to our generation. I highly recommend AP Media’s products because you can use them for outreach as well as in church.” The median age for the population of the Philippines is 24 years old. This makes it imperative that we help students be open about the issues they face in everyday life and give them the open door to discuss those issues, pointing them toward a biblical approach to healthy living. The Usapang Pamilya 28-episode series has not only made an impact in the church, they are utilized in schools and in television broadcasts across the country. February/March 2017 e-Issue [17.]

Your Love Gift to Asia Pacific this month— PRAY AN HOUR Asia Pacific has many people who have never heard the Message of the gospel. As we produce media tools and train media missionaries we engage in spiritual warfare daily.
We’ve discovered that time is better invested, finances go further, and fewer problems occur when people are praying consistently and fervently! We need you to commit to pray for just 2 minutes a day for the next 30 days specifically for Asia Pacific and the ministry of AP Media!
GIVE AN HOUR To respond to the War on Drugs in The Philippines alone,
we want to produce resources that tell true stories of drug abusers who have found freedom in Christ .Instead of hopelessness, the Church can offer hope. This is a prime opportunity for the body of Christ to step up. To meet the need, your faithful prayer and steady monthly support is required. Your partnership allows us to engage this opportunity while not losing sight of the ministry’s momentum in other countries like Myanmar and Indonesia and in the Middle East. Please help us be fully equipped to meet these challenges in the year ahead: $50 will help support an hour or ministry, $400 a day, $2,500 a week and so on. Any investment, no matter the size, will multiply God’s work across Asia Pacific. Also, could giving an additional Love Month offering on top of your normal monthly commitment, today? You can mail or make your donation securely today at apmedia.org/give or by texting APMEDIAGIVE to 95577 (U.S. only). God is opening many doors to reach Asia Pacific with the gospel. Thank you for helping us walk through them with your faithful support. [20.] AP Media MISSION / apmedia.org.
