Releasing John 10:10Potential Though battles wage across the Philippines against drugs and terrorist uprising, we believe that AP Media is positioned in the heart of this region for such a time as this. Many addicts, in fear of the death sentence for their drug habit, know that rehabilitation that provides LIFE-changing results is the only hope they have for a future. That’s why telling the stories of former addicts like Jerry and Paul is so important. They offer hope! These Freedom Stories give men and women the opportunity to see how people, just like them, find complete healing through Jesus Christ! In June, we put our first story on social media. In three weeks, we had 1.7 million views. These stories will be incorporated into a new 12-step program called Living Free that is now coming to communities across the Philippines. Church workers will connect with those who are seeking freedom. I covet your prayers as this is a great open door. Each story is the message of LIFE in Jesus Christ, MULTIPLIED through the power of media — it’s the missional heart of John 10:10. And every day, because of your prayer and financial support of this ministry, you are helping increase our John 10:10 potential — so all might have LIFE MULTIPLIED ... and more abundantly. June / July 2017 e-Issue [3.]
THANK YOU, AP MEDIA PARTNERS,
FOR HELPING US SHARE — “FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE! ” —ROMANS 6:23 (KJV) —
Abundant LIFE! “I want to thank Asia Pacific Media for the latest issue of Men in Progress (M.I.P.). It’s a big encouragement for our patients not to give up on life and that God will move in their life.” — Arian Regis Ferrer, Geullah Christian Retreat House The latest issue of M.I.P., which focuses on the theme of Rising Above Addiction, includes the testimonies of pastors Dino Gonzales and Paul Esguerra (pictured on left). It also contains practical steps toward freedom from life-controlling issues used in the rehabilitation center where Pastor Paul ministers. “These testimonies were especially encouraging to those in our treatment program,” Arian says. Turn to page 6, and you can read Dino and Paul’s story as well as other features in the issue. This publication, as well as our “Living Free” video series, are being utilized by churches and rehabilitation agencies all across the Philippines to provide assistance and resource to millions of people seeking a way to overcome addiction. As you read through this issue, could you also help further these efforts — to multiply the message of LIFE to many who have not heard? See page 21 for details.

lifeXMultiplied Can you imagine one story touching 1.7 million lives in less than one month? That’s exactly how many people “Jerry’s Story,” the first in our Freedom series, has reached and that number continues to climb every day! Thank you, partners. Your prayer and support for Asia Pacific Media have made this possible!. This month we continue to share the message that new LIFE, free from the bondage of drugs, is possible! Jesus Christ is the source of LIFE Multiplied! “Recovery cannot be traveled alone,” says Paul, a former addict whose addiction led him to a life of homelessness — living as a beggar on the street. Paul’s testimony is featured in our second Story of Freedom that was just released. He’s now the Senior Program Facilitator of Penuel Home, a faith-based recovery center for drug addicts and alcoholics in San Juan, Metro Manila. Right now, in response to the War on Drugs in the Philippines, 18 men are residing in-patient at the Penuel Home recovery center. Each Living Free video costs our ministry about $1200 to write, film, produce and distribute.
As you support AP Media you enable us to provide and[9.] print materials like these to supplement mber/December video 2016 e-Issue drug rehabilitation workshops arranged by Global Teen Challenge in the Philippines.

PROVIDING LIFE SOLUTIONS FOR FAMILIES IN NEED —AP MEDIA STAFF— A bright young professional with a promising career becomes involved with an addiction that threatens his whole family. Are drugs as harmless as they sometimes appear? Is there any way out of addiction? These are some of the hard life and family situations that we address with a story and discuss in a Talk Show format in AP Media’s Usapang Pamilya “Let’s Talk” series. In volume 3 of the 10 Volume Usapang Pamilya series, “Bangag” long-time hosts Harold and Melie Cruz address the topic of addiction with Teen Challenge Director Jacob Koshy. This series continues to be a valued teaching resource utilized by churches, schools, small groups and government agencies and is even broadcast on Filipino television stations. Please pray that as these materials are relaunched via our new Usapang Pamilya website (usapangpamilya.com ) they will continue to reach and restore lives and families across the Philippines.

OUR INFLUENCE, INCREASED
God is not only increasing the vision for Asia Pacific Media, He is expanding the influence of our Manila-based creative team (picture above) and multiplying media missionaries on the field in Asia Pacific and beyond. We are excited to witness firsthand how the life-giving stories we produce are impacting millions of people and influencing nations with the message of LIFEÂwhich IS possible through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ! In fact, we are blessed to have been able to add volunteers to our creative team this summer so we could rise to meet the increasing need on the field. In just a couple of months, we will be returning to Myanmar for a follow-up training with video producers. Bottom Line: Now, more than ever, we are relying on friends like you for prayer and financial support on every level. See page 20 for details. We need wisdom and favor for our team so every project we take on can have maximum effectiveness. So ALL might have LIFE and have it to the full! [12.] AP Media MISSION / apmedia.org

AP Media Indonesia A NEW FACE ON SOCIAL MEDIA —from Bill Snider—
AP Media has made a commitment to provide resources and training for workers and churches in Indonesia. Following our Multiply Training seminars last summer, we are consulting with Indonesian leaders to establish a new Christian radio station in the eastern part of the nation. But we’re also excited to announce that next month the new AP Media Indonesia Facebook will be officially launched. This Facebook page is specifically designed to provide downloadable and shareable resources for Indonesian believers. We will have every relevant AP Media resource in our media library translated into Bahasa! Over 100 million Indonesians are active social media users! Please continue to pray for the country of Indonesia, that many will be reached with the message of LIFE through Jesus Christ. June / July 2017 e-Issue [15.]

Asia Pacific Media— NEW RESOURCE FOR OVERSEAS FILPINO WORKERS —AP MEDIA STAFF— Following the success of our Christmas DigiTracts, directed to the unique challenges of Overseas Filipino Workers who must spend the holidays separated from their families, we are excited to share the story of OFW family Fidel and Anna Melody Monzo. After Fidel and Anna Melody had finished medical school, Fidel felt the call to missions. Fidel recalls: “My priorities would have been to have a good career. Getting rich and getting the best car I could. But mainly because of my discipleship process I learned the things of eternal value become priority over earthly things.” God opened the door for Fidel and Anna Melody to use their vocational studies on the mission field. As they served in one of the poorest villages of Cambodia, God taught the Monzos one of the greatest lessons. Watch their story here:

So all may know...LIFE MULTIPLIED
PRAY AN HOUR John 3:16 — Many people in Asia Pacific have never heard this simple Message of LIFE. As we produce media tools and train media missionaries, we engage in spiritual warfare daily.
We’ve discovered that time is better invested, finances go further and fewer problems occur when people are praying consistently and fervently! We need you to commit to pray for just 2 minutes a day for the next 30 days specifically for Asia Pacific and the ministry of AP Media!
GIVE AN HOUR To respond to the War on Drugs in the Philippines alone, we
want to produce resources that tell true stories of drug abusers who have found freedom in Christ. Instead of hopelessness, the Church can offer hope. This is a prime opportunity for the body of Christ to step up. To meet the need, your faithful prayer and steady monthly support are required. Your partnership allows us to engage this opportunity while not losing sight of the ministry’s momentum in other countries like Myanmar and Indonesia and in the Middle East. Please help us be fully equipped to meet these challenges in the year ahead: $50 will help support an hour of ministry, $400 a day, $2,500 a week, and so on. Any investment, no matter the size, will multiply God’s work across Asia Pacific. Also, if you have extra resources this month, please consider a special offering on top of your normal monthly commitment today to help invest in our ministry as we focus on making future productions in the Living Free series. Each $1200 video production will help us share abundant LIFE is possible through Jesus Christ! You can mail or make your donation securely today at apmedia.org/give or by texting APMEDIAGIVE to 95577 (U.S. only). God is opening many doors to reach Asia Pacific with the gospel. Thank you for helping us walk through them with your faithful support. [20.] AP Media MISSION / apmedia.org.
