2022 LIFE IMPRINT DINNER Friday, January 28 | 6:30 p.m. | The Commons

Our speaker for the 2022 Life Imprint Dinner is former baseball slugger Darryl Strawberry. Darryl Strawberry is described as a legend by many who have been dazzled by the dynamics of his game and the power he possessed at the plate. During his career, he earned the legendary nicknames and phrases of one of the most feared homerun hitters in baseball - Straw’s Sweet Swing, Strawberry’s Field Forever, and The Legendary Straw Man! However, throughout the eighties and nineties, Strawberry faced many challenges off the field, including tax evasion, drug abuse, solicitation, suspensions, stints in rehab, cancer, and time in prison. Today, as a redeemed sinner, Darryl’s purpose and passion is serving the Lord Jesus Christ by speaking a message of hope and helping others transform their lives through the power of the gospel. “I was once very lost and tormented but now I am found and free in Christ Jesus. I want everyone to experience the saving and transforming power of Jesus Christ.” Online registration is now available for you and your guests that are truly seekers at apostles.org/events or contact Jan Blakeslee at jblakeslee@apostles.org or 404-591-1988.

*Our definition of a seeker: someone who is unclear about what it means to have a personal relationship with God, uncertain how to go about it, or unconvinced that such a relationship even exists.
