Resources Computers

While it is not required for students to have their own computer, it is strongly recommended. With our extensive resources and computer experts, we’ll have you up and running in no time. Contact IT Support Services for answers to all of your technology-related questions (even the ones you didn’t know you had). IT Support Services works closely with the University Bookstore to configure Apple and Dell computers that have been selected to meet the needs of App State students. Educational discounts and special pricing on complete-care warranties, including accidental damage, are available. Bringing a computer? Make sure it meets minimum requirements so you can access App State’s network. Public Access Computers App State has public computer workstations throughout campus, as well as laptops for check out in Belk Library and Information Commons. These Windows and Apple computers have a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, presentation and statistical software. Check with IT to see if your intended major has specific computer requirements.
