At Edison Prep, we work with students to help them achieve their goals in standardized testing and in college admissions. It is our honor to help 1,800+ students every year prepare for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and AP History exams.

Brian and Silvia Eufinger co- founded Edison Prep in 2010, offering 1-1 tutoring in students’ homes or local coffee shops. In 2011, Brian and Silvia published the first edition of Edison Prep’s SAT and ACT curriculum—comprehensive workbooks with the content, strategies, and practice materials to help students improve their scores— which they continue to revise each year. The company soon added AP History Bootcamps to the yearly rotation! And since then, we’ve expanded our offerings to include SAT and ACT group courses, accelerated bootcamps, and expanded private tutoring options—and much more!

Edison Prep prides itself on being a boutique tutoring agency with a small, experienced team led by the two founders, who still teach full-time in the trenches alongside the rest of the team (this is highly unusual in the test prep industry). The founders teach all the SAT and ACT group classes, and then do private tutoring whenever they’re not teaching classes. They’ve trained a small team of tutors to assist with the private fine-tuning tutoring that many of the group class students do after taking the class. (85% of students either start off with, or only, do a group class.)

We are proud that our small team of experienced tutors has over 100,000 hours of experience; we pay at the top of the market to ensure quality and retain top tutors who live and breathe these tests, be it by taking the real exams each year, dissecting newly released tests hot off the presses, or talking shop to tighten up our curriculum and materials.

Edison Prep is frequently invited to speak about test prep and admissions at high schools, national conferences, and education podcasts. In 2020, the National Test Prep Association elected Edison Prep co-founder Brian Eufinger as a board member.

We are fortunate to continue growing our offerings. In 2023, we expanded our office space, added team members, revised our books, and are hard at work building our new Digital SAT curriculum. We also celebrated our 20,000th student!

All services are available both inperson and virtually. While most of our students are in greater Atlanta, technology allows us to serve families around the world: We have worked with students in 30 states and five countries.
