Berman Commons

It’s a new day at Berman Commons. New leadership. New chef. New dining options. New everything. We’re going to baseball games. We’re celebrating birthdays. We have book club and Mahjongg and exercise class. We celebrate holidays big and small, from Thanksgiving to Sweethearts Day. And we are open to all.

Right in the neighborhood across from Dunwoody Elementary sits our award-winning assisted living and Memory Care community. For families looking for high quality senior living close to home, Berman Commons is here for you. Our memory care residents can watch ball games at the Marcus JCC just by going out on the patio, and we provide complimentary membership to the JCC for any resident who would like to go next door for swimming, theatre or classes. We are proud to be an active part of the Dunwoody community.

At Berman Commons we empower residents to live an active, healthy and more joyful life. Our highly trained and friendly staff gets to know each resident and their families. Together, we develop a personalized care plan that meets residents’ needs, preferences and schedules, and supports maximum independence.

5 things that make Berman Commons unique

• Programs and activities for independent seniors such as transportation to the Marcus JCC every week and complimentary membership for all residents for swimming, Silver Sneakers and more

• As an I’m Still Here® Center of Excellence, our unique approach to dementia care and engagement encourages residents to utilize their remaining skills and abilities, and our parallel programming is customized for each resident’s interests and personal stage of memory impairment

• Our Pathways Bridge Program provides an enhanced assisted living experience for those who need more support but are not quite ready for a secure memory care neighborhood

• We have outpatient rehab and a primary care clinic on site with weekly visits from our nurse practitioner, making it easier for families who don’t always have the time to take Mom or Dad to medical appointments.

• Our expanded dining options are inclusive to all, from special diets to traditional favorites.

Thank you to Dunwoody Crier readers for choosing The New Berman Commons as Best of Perimeter. We invite you to join us for lunch and experience our community. Learn more at bermancommons.org.
