Boys home celebrates outdoor pavilion Miss Georgia 2019 joins nonprofit supporters to dedicate quiet space for displaced teens By PATRICK FOX pat@appenmedia.com CUMMING, Ga. — Victoria Hill delivered two arias to volunteers and staff of the Bald Ridge Lodge, a non-profit home in Cumming for teen boys facing adversity. But the words she spoke before the performance Oct. 28 carried a tune just as sweet. “Two of my uncles actually were adopted out of the foster care system, and I’m so proud of them and can’t imagine my life without them,” said Hill, the 2019 Miss Georgia and first runner up in the 2020 Miss America Pageant. “It’s something that has been instilled in me since I was very young, and I will continue throughout my career and my life to work within the foster care system.” The crowd of some 50 people were on hand at Alliance Academy to celebrate the dedication of the Victoria Hill Pavilion, a 384-square-foot covered shelter nestled in the woods behind the home for boys. Bald Ridge Lodge provides a safe haven and counseling in a therapeutic environment for young men in need of protection and supervision in a manner that nurtures the child, strengthens families and allows the community to care for its own. “The completion of the pavilion feels like a milestone marker to me,” said Executive Director Angela Dikes. “It reminds me of all the boys at Bald Ridge Lodge who’ve overcome challenges in their lives as well.” Plans for the pavilion were conceived two years ago when members of the board of directors began a drive to provide a quiet outdoor space for the young men to break from their daily routines. Hill, who grew up in the area and had been involved in supporting foster care as a child, was on board immediately. She was featured guest at a fundraising gala held at the Polo Golf and Country Club that launched the campaign. Board member Adam Rodes was tapped as project manager, and he immediately contacted everyone he knew who owned a hammer and knew anything about construction. All in all, Rodes said, the pavilion represents $30,000-worth of donated labor and material. Construction was funded through Jeff Mogan of Corner Farms, a private foundation that helps families and charities fund projects and receive the help they need to overcome challenges. Rodes said one of the big challenges in construction was getting the project off the ground. Lumber prices had soared, and

he called on Chris Wakefield, president of The Outdoor Lights in Cumming, to scout for sources. Wakefield spent months going back and forth with suppliers, but prices for oak and cedar continued to climb. Then, out of nowhere, one of his contacts alerted him to a property owner in Edison, Ga., who was clearing cedar trees that were among damaged stock following Hurricane Michael in 2018. He rounded up a crew and headed to South Georgia to harvest what he could of the damaged trees. “These were big boys,” Wakefield said. “It took six guys to carry some of those beams up the hill. We had a big John Deere tractor pulling them out.” The building permit came soon after, and work began in October of 2020. Local businesses and the local Rotary Club helped. Everything from concrete foundation to ceiling fans to paint. The finishing touch came at the hands of Troop 457 Eagle Scout Aaron Wojtowicz, a student at Alliance Academy, who used the remainder of the lumber to build eight cedar benches.

Forsyth County officials say upgraded website will engage more residents BY TIFFANY MORGAN newsroom@appenmedia.com FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. –– Forsyth County has enhanced its website to make it easier for residents to follow and be more involved in their local government. County Manager Kevin Tanner said the new design takes a “180 degree turn” to the website. The commissioners held their work session on Oct. 26 to view the details of the website to display how residents can engage and navigate their local government. The re-designed website went live the following day. Commission Chairwoman Cindy Jones-Mills said she’s gotten several complaints throughout the years about the website not being userfriendly, and the fresh face on the site is a welcome change, she said. “I’m happy that staff took the time to do it correctly, and I hope the citizens will be happy with the results – I look forward to hearing from [residents],” Mills said. Assistant County Manager Brandon Kenney said the timeline of the project was over a year and a half

Convicted felon accused of using woman’s identity FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Deputies arrested a convicted felon for allegedly using a fake driver’s license to steal $3,000 in November 2019. Heather Ann Gallelli, 48, was arrested Oct. 22 charged with two counts of identity fraud. Deputies jailed her on the charges after extraditing her from the Emanuel Women’s Facility in Swainsboro. Georgia Department of Corrections records show Gallelli is fresh off a 13-month stint at the prison after a conviction for forgery and identity fraud in Clayton County. It marked her fifth Georgia prison stint dating back to 2000, DOC records show. She remains held without bond at the Forsyth County jail for the charges here. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the charges stem from a November 2019 incident when she allegedly obtained a $3,000 cashier’s check on another wom-

The victim’s bank gave deputies a photocopy of the fake ID Gallelli used as well as a picture of the license plate from the vehicle she was driving. Investigators eventually identified Gallelli as the suspect in the case and learned she was wanted by several other agencies for similar crimes.

Commissioner Molly Cooper makes a motion to approve new business for the 24-hour location of Whataburger.
Forsyth County Commission OKs 24-hour burger joint BY TIFFANY MORGAN newsroom@appenmedia.com FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. –– It’s going to be burger o’clock at Forsyth County’s future Whataburger location. The Board of Commissioners approved the soon to be “around-theclock,” 24-hour burger joint at the Oct. 21 regular meeting. The restaurant will be at 503 Lakeland Plaza, replacing the closed SunTrust bank branch. Board members also approved a fiveyear-postponed development of Longlake subdivision. The development will have 54 residential lots. The property, located off the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Sharon Road, is next to a shopping center with restaurants, which will allow residents to walk to points of interest, according to Commissioner Alfred John, who added that the goal of the potential development is to serve the community. Two citizens spoke in opposition of the development, expressing their concerns with heightened traffic, but John said the homes will not affect those residents because they are not in close
proximity to the new development. There will also be an access point that connects the development and the shopping plaza, so patrons and community members are able to safely exit at a traffic light at Sharon promenade. John said it was a “contentious” process – an ongoing topic since 2017 – long before he was elected; an agenda item that’s been postponed 44 times. John said that since working with all parties involved, he is relieved to finally have the zoning approved. In other action at the meeting: Commissioners recognized high school student Vinayak Menon for his efforts in anti-tobacco advocacy. A proclamation for the week of Oct. 24-31 was presented to the Family Promise Group to observe Family Promise Week to raise awareness of homelessness in the county. Conditions to the Hindu Center of Atlanta Inc., were approved by the board, not to allow outside amplified speakers. Restoration of the Tolbert Street Cemetery by Leadership Forsyth was approved for its 2021-22 class project.

By CANDY WAYLOCK candy@appenmedia.com CUMMING, Ga. — Vinayak Menon got involved in drug prevention efforts as a freshman in high school when many his peers were still navigating the move up from middle school. “I began to notice that substance use was a growing issue among my peers,” said Menon who is now a senior at Lambert High School. “It took various forms, including smoking, e-cigarette use, underage drinking and opioids.” He joined the Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council with the goal of helping others, recognizing his community needed youth advocates and leaders. He now serves as a youth leader for the organization. Over the past three years, Menon, a member of the USA National Debate Team, has spread his message of drug abuse awareness to thousands of people. He recently received national recognition for urging Congress to pass laws banning flavored vaping and e-cigarette products. Menon’s megaphone for drug awareness also has the ear of the state’s top education official. He is part of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council which meets regularly with State School Superintendent Richard Woods to discuss issues of local concern. Menon’s most recent drug awareness campaign is targeted at home medicine cabinets where stashes of expired and unused medications often land in the hands of kids. His goal is to remove and safely dispose of one million unused pills in the Atlanta metro. In October, Menon joined forces with
the national Gone for Good campaign led by the addiction nonprofit SAFE Project to distribute at-home disposal pouches to U.S. households. So far, Menon has distributed 3,750 drug deactivation and disposal pouches to local community organizations — enough to get rid of nearly 330,000 pills — and will continue the effort till he reaches his target. The need for focus and attention on the opioid crisis is even more important in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Menon said. “Since the onset of the pandemic, opioid and fentanyl overdose deaths in Georgia have dramatically increased,” he noted. “At the same time, access to services, such as treatment, rehabilitation and drug disposal, has been limited.” The CDC estimates that 93,000 people died from drug overdoses in the U.S. in 2020, up nearly 30% from 2019. Georgia was particularly hard hit with overdose overdoses spiking 36% in 2020. Menon attended the Teacup Memorial Service hosted by Realty4Recovery in August and said he was impacted by the pain experienced by the individuals and families who struggle with opioid addiction. He said he wants his efforts on raising drug abuse awareness to resonate in the community and bring others to the cause. “I’m hoping that my message and the campaign that I am leading in my community can create the necessary change to combat the rise in use of opioids,” Menon said, noting it will take community-wide awareness to see meaningful change.

‘Outsmarting Antisemitism’ course begins at Cumming Recreation Center By SYDNEY DANGREMOND sydney@appenmedia.com CUMMING, Ga. — Forsyth County leaders and residents gathered at the Cumming Recreation Center Oct. 27 for the first of a four-class course “Outsmarting Antisemitism.” The course, led by Rabbi Levi Mentz of Congregation Beth Israel, focuses on highlighting the “absurdity of antisemitism and how to beat it with purpose, positivity and pride.” The U.S. Department of Justice hate crimes database shows a 550% increase in religiously motivated hate crimes in the Georgia from 2018 to 2020. Mentz cited an increase in antisemitic incidents as a driving reason for hosting the class. The Wednesday-evening event marked the three-year anniversary of what is believed to be the deadliest antisemitic attack on American soil, the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Forsyth County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Bagley delivered remarks at the beginning of the evening expressing his dedication toward equality. Bagley referenced the new courthouse statue of Lady Justice wearing a blindfold, symbolizing that justice is blind and has no prejudice. Superintendent of Forsyth County Schools Jeff Bearden also spoke to the crowd, calling for unity in the fight against antisemitism. “When Rabbi Levi invited me to attend tonight, it was a very easy yes,” Bearden said. “Yes, we want to outsmart antisemitism. We want all children, all families to feel like part of Forsyth County Schools’ family. And we can make that happen when we all come together, regardless of what we believe, regardless of what we look like or where we came from.” Bearden then pledged his and his staff’s support to the cause. Forsyth County Commissioner Cindy
Jones Mills, who has lived in the county for much of her life, spoke about how she has seen firsthand how Forsyth has evolved for the better. “It’s so wonderful the way we have changed and progressed,” Mills said. “And I think that it is a beautiful thing to watch, but we can always keep doing better and better. … Education and understanding are what will break the hatred’s cycle and it starts right here in our community.” The first of the four-part course focused on how Jewish community members can fight antisemitism from within. “Before we begin the journey of understanding how to outsmart antisemitism, the very first step needs to be within ourselves, within our own hearts, within our own mind,” Mentz said. “How do we think about the subject? How do we react towards the subject? Because if we’re not focused, if we don’t have clarity, if we are not aligned emotionally, intellectually, psychologically in our personal reaction towards this reality of antisemitism, there’s nowhere to go.” Mentz identified three ideas to help conquer antisemitism from within. The first, he said, was to “recognize that the Jewish people are a miraculous people.” After millennia of persecution, Mentz said that the longevity of the Jewish people is a miracle in itself. His second idea was to “consider the full picture.” Mentz cited survey data from the Anti-Defamation League which showed a decrease in the number of antisemitic individuals, despite the increase in antisemitic incidents. Finally, Mentz encouraged Jewish attendees not to be afraid, just as he said God commands in the Torah. “There is such an incredible strength when we know that God is with us,” Mentz said. The second class will be Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. For more information visit jewishforsyth.org.

From left, Deb Cozzone and Micah Walsh from the Computer Museum of America in Roswell, watch Tom Rehkopf repair the magic margin feature on a Royal Manual typewriter on Oct. 14.
JEFFREY ALBERTSON/APPEN MEDIA
Retired tech exec goes retro collecting vintage typewriters By JEFFREY ALBERTSON newsroom@appenmdia.com ROSWELL, Ga. — Tom Rehkopf is a natural storyteller. The threads of his stories lead to the silver screen and traverse digital and analogue worlds. The Roswell resident, a mathematician by training, worked 25 years for AT&T, a decade at Bell Laboratories and now heads an IT consulting company. His career has included chasing Russian submarines and programming guidance equations for the Titan IIIB booster rocket. That’s the digital Tom, it’s the analog version who thrives today. “I don’t want to work, I want to keep playing with typewriters,” Rehkopf said. “The appeal to me is not as a tool, it’s as an artifact and I would buy them if they looked cool.” He began collecting typewriters about 25 years ago and has amassed several hundred machines. “I had been collecting typewriters on and off, I went to flea markets and estate sales and stuff like that, they would just catch my eye,” Rehkopf said. “I didn’t particularly want to type letters or type the great American novel.” A network of pickers in Germany, Poland, Sweden and Malta assist in his typewriter acquisition. He is still on the hunt for a cherry red Olivetti ICO MP1 from the late 1930s. The most meaningful in his collection is a Royal Portable her wife used while enrolled at Florida State University in the early 1960s. Some of the typewriters are included in community outreach. Rehkopf has given away at least eight of the machines to children with autism, a learning impairment impacting speech and nonverbal communication. About 20 more have been donated to teachers at area schools for classroom use. More are headed to the Theater Department at the University of North Georgia later this
month for a production of “9 to 5.” Some of the connections were made through the Atlanta Typewriter Meet, whose website Rehkopf designed. The group can be found online at atlantatypewritermeet.com. The devices have even made it to the big screen, thanks to a chance meeting. Some five years ago, Rehkopf was at Progressive Methods computer repair in Decatur seeking advice from owner Jim Riegert. “Up drives three gigantic black SUVs, I told Jim it was either the mafia or the cops and it didn’t look good,” Rehkopf said. “The entourage disappeared into the back and one of the guys said, ‘That’s Tom Hanks!’” Hanks was on a ladder in the warehouse, pulling typewriters off a shelf. Hanks inquired about the typewriter Rehkopf brought for repair. For about 10 minutes, the two Toms gazed over a Smith Corona Number 4 trying to diagnose an issue with a ribbon vibrator. Leveraging his connection with Hanks, Rehkopf broke into the television industry. He recently supplied two shows — “The Glorias” and the remake of “The Wonder Years” — with typewriters. He also signed an agreement with 20th Century Fox to provide typewriters and technical expertise. His skillset carries a Roswell connection to the Computer Museum of America. On Oct. 14, Rehkopf took his cleaning supplies and toolkit loaded with surgical utensils and screwdrivers to clean up CoMA’s typewriter collection. The museum held a World War II technology event the week before, and Rehkopf entered German and American machines of the period. Typewriters have enjoyed a resurgence recently as collectors and enthusiasts seek out vintage machines. Online retailers have created a niche market in reclaiming machines, once destined for a junk pile, back to working order.

ROSWELL, Ga. — A North Fulton charity says that affordable housing is a concern for 95 percent of area residents they polled in a recent survey. Local nonprofit The Drake House reported it polled more than 1,000 area residents to measure how they are affected by a lack of affordable housing. The results showed 37% of respondents said they were directly affected, while another 58% were not directly affected but concerned about the lack of affordable housing in their communities. The Drake House launched the survey to spur elected officials to make affordable housing a priority in North Fulton communities. Affordable housing has been an issue in cities across Metro Atlanta. A recent study commissioned for the City of Alpharetta found that new homes for households earning less than $100,000 are almost completely out of reach. “We don’t have all the answers but want to use the data we have to help our local officials develop a plan to address this need,” said Nesha Mason, executive director of The Drake House. “The families we serve are North Fulton residents that need a little help getting back on their feet. We work to help them regain their stability and reestablish their homes in our communities, but unfortunately there are no options they can afford.” According to the survey, it’s not just the graduates of The Drake House that are being priced out of North Fulton. Sur-
vey respondents are directly affected by employee vacancies, congested traffic and affordability for empty nesters looking to downsize or for their children to reestablish in the community. Many cities across the country are effectively working toward supporting their essential workers’ housing needs within their city borders. “The Drake House was founded to assist single mothers with children over 15 years ago. And since that time, very little housing has become available for them as a next step. All of the cities include some language toward adding affordable or workforce housing in their master plans, but there is no movement in that arena,” The Drake House founder Kathy Swahn said. “Our municipal leaders must look towards filling that housing gap in order to balance the needs of our growing economies.” The Drake House provides supportive housing and enrichment programs for mothers and their children who are experiencing homelessness in North Metro Atlanta. Its educational, empowerment and mentoring programs assist families in becoming financially self-sufficient and regaining their housing stability. The Drake House is the only agency in the area offering an emergency residential program with private housing, serving approximately 50

families with 100 children per year. The nonprofit estimates that more than 10,000 people in Metro Atlanta experience homelessness on any given night, and more than 40 percent of the area’s homeless population is women and children. Why you shouldn’t wait until spring to sell your home Brought to you by – BILL RAWLINGS, Senior Vice President & Managing Broker, North Atlanta Office Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty It’s often said that spring and summer are the best times to buy or sell a house. For this reason, you might hold off listing your home. But if every homeowner believes the same thing, then that is RAWLINGS when they will have the most competition! There are many advantages to selling your home in the wintertime that can give you a leg up on selling your home quickly and at the right price. 1. Less Competition As previously mentioned, spring and summer are prime seasons for buying or selling and many homeowners wait until this time to list their homes for sale. But postponing the sale of your home until spring could result in greater competition due to a larger pool of available properties. Your house might get lost in the shuffle and sit on the market for longer than anticipated. But if you were to list your home during the winter,
less competition will make it easier for buyers to notice your property. 2. Quicker Transactions Another great benefit of selling your home when there are fewer listings on the market is that there are also fewer transactions occurring. With fewer overall transactions, mortgage lenders, appraisers and inspectors are less overwhelmed, and the selling process is likely to be smoother and faster. It will also help in overall response time, leading to less stress and frustration for you! 3. Mortgage Rates Are Low Although spring and summer might only be a few months or weeks away, mortgage interest rates can shift upwards between now and then. When mortgage rates increase, purchasing power decreases. If you postpone listing your home and rates begin to rise, this may limit the number of buyers who can qualify for a loan to purchase your home.
which means that serious buyers exist every day! At this time of year, only those purchasers who are serious about buying a home will be in the marketplace. You will not be bothered and inconvenienced by window shoppers. Those people are at the mall or online doing their holiday shopping. Also, the fall and winter months offer unique events that give buyers a sense of what your community is truly like. Take advantage of your neighborhood’s festive offerings, whether it be light displays, seasonal décor or community gatherings, as these details bring value to a buyer’s decision to live in one neighborhood versus another. If you’re ready to move before spring, putting your home on the market during the colder seasons can create the perfect combination of factors to sell your home as quickly and easily as possible. If you need assistance selling your home or have any other real estate needs, please contact Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty at 770.442.7300. We would be happy to assist you!
4. Serious Buyers Always Exist The home buying and selling process doesn’t stop,

The New Luxury: Revising the Standards Brought to you by – Cynthia Lippert, Managing Broker Ansley Real Estate & President, Atlanta Realtors Association In the first article of this series, we explored an inherited concept of LIPPERT luxury that is largely defined by grand scale, indulgence, and central locale. But that definition may be long overdue for a makeover, or at least some reconsideration. As Atlanta’s go-to boutique luxury real estate firm, Ansley Real Estate is poised to lead the conversation, with fresh ideas on what luxury means to consumers in a shifting environment. Re-value In comparison to the more-is-more mentality of the 20th century, the
appeal of luxury has met with greater scrutiny in recent years. And the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 may have been the catalyst for a reset of core values. For many, the very definition of what was important was suddenly reset by closing schools, shuttered offices, and seized travel. Perhaps we had lost sight of luxuries like time with family, self care, adventure, and safety. Some realized that those ‘little things’ were in fact the things that drive our definition of what it means to have more. Becoming One Sets Us Apart As the planet was forced to reconsider what truly mattered, we discovered a sense of unity we hadn’t realized was missing. The pandemic was a call to action for communities to pull together when we had become used to setting ourselves apart. The old luxury was unattainable, inaccessible, and unap-
proachable. But we see a new luxury that indulges more in humanity and connection than in competition. The excess that was once the hallmark of luxury living is showing up in purposeful ways to help alleviate the profound suffering in our communities. The new luxury values service, equality, and humanity. Wide Open Places The explosion of entrepreneurialism in the last decade has played a huge role in the evolution of luxury living, namely its diversity of expression. What used to be heavily defined by an opulent, myopic aesthetic has been replaced by a freer ‘anything goes’ mentality. And when the pandemic shut down offices globally, many people were suddenly imbued with a newfound freedom to live anywhere, and any way their means would allow. Location has always been everything, and now it can
literally be anywhere. Luxury living could take on new and exciting forms, from fulltime retreats to modernized mini-farms. The possibilities became endless overnight. If we learned nothing else from the pandemic, we learned to take ourselves less seriously. Not only were we forced to re-evaluate our daily lives, but maybe enjoy them more too. Eventually we embraced the simplicity of makeupfree meetings, activewear wardrobes, and generally requiring less in our daily lives while giving back more. As a side effect, luxury lifestyles have become more about living authentically. As we embrace the now and future luxury, Ansley Real Estate is informed by those we serve - our clients, our colleagues, and our community. So it’s in the spirit of service that we define luxury every day by asking, “What does luxury living mean to you?”

Choosing the right material for your Exterior Shutters Brought to you by – Dupbel Millworks, Inc. Shutters can make or break the curb appeal of a house and it is important to consider the different materials that shutters are made of. Prices will vary considerably between the different materials and each will have its own positives and negatives. Let’s take a look at the 4 main ones. Wood: Very traditional and good looking. Could be pricey depending in the wood species that is used. Stay away from cheaper woods like Poplar or pine that will rot, twist and split within a short period of time. Good species are Western Red Cedar and Cypress. Make sure you add some sort of a cap to the top of the shutter to prevent splitting and make sure your provider seals the wood effectively to prevent rot. Easy to customize size and styles. Easy to repaint depending on the paint used, and special care should be taken to ensure the paint seals the product completely. Vinyl: Cheapest option you can get, but then it will also look like that. The summer heat can play a trick on these where the shutters became brittle with color fading over time. These shutters are typically hollow and not very strong. Its recommended that they are mounted flush against the wall, although some service providers sell hardware kits to mount them on hinges. Vinyl shutters are typically 3 times cheaper than wood or composites, but remember you’ll have to pay for installation 3 times. Limited options available for size, style and color. Difficult to repaint effectively. Composite Wood: Pricing is comparable to wood, and although you get the look and feel of wood, you don’t have the issues that comes using wood. No rotting, swelling, twisting and if it is the right material, no insect damage. There are different composite materials available and not all are rated for extended exterior use, so make sure your provider uses the right stuff (and can prove it). Very long lasting and in some cases you even have environmentally friendly/safe options available. Easy to customize and a good provider should be able to create unique designs and styles perfect for your home. Similar to wood it will need repainting in a few years, but generally easy to do. Can be mounted on hinges or direct to the wall.
PVC: Pricey, so shop around. This stuff will last almost forever and moisture have no effect on it. Heat does play a role and it’s prone to cupping, bending and warping, so make sure your provider adds some form of additional strengthening. Seems that the industry standard is to add metal bracing on the back to prevent some of the issues. Difficult to paint and typically comes in standard colors. Make sure from you provider what steps you’ll have to take when it comes to repainting. Can be mounted flush or on hinges. Dupbel Millworks Inc. manufactures exteriors shutters using only weather resistant materials. Our core business is shutters made from a composite wood material that is rot, insect and weather resistant. This is especially important in Georgia’s hot, humid conditions. Although we carry a series of shutters styles, we are fully equipped to help you design the specific look you desire, and every shutter is custom made based on your house, windows and design. We use your house as our showroom, knowing very well how difficult it can be to see what a specific style of shutter will do the look of your home. We come to your house with samples and will help you to choose the perfect style of shutter for your house. Our business is located in Alpharetta, GA and we are proud to serve the residential and commercial market of North Georgia. We are small enough to provide you with personal attention, yet strong enough to handle complex designs. 678-662-4815

Oven Ready Dinners!
Dear Reader, I am pleased to present Appen Media Group’s newest addition to your local newspaper, a free coupon page for local restaurants that we hope to update and publish every week. This is a continued effort by our company to support local restaurants through a still very trying economic period. This program costs participating restaurants nothing, other than the discount they are offering their customers in the coupon. It is a small way for us at Appen Media Group to give back to the business community that has given us so much. Our hope is that this will continue to protect the high quality of life we have come to enjoy in the north Metro area. For me, the pandemic highlighted the best in you – our readers – as you rushed to the aid of local businesses looking for new and creative ways to keep their lights on. You made donations, ordered take out, bought gift cards, took food to healthcare workers – whatever you could do to help out. Local businesses still desperately need your continued support and patronage. So, please take advantage of these great offers! While you are at it, please take a look through our newspaper and support our advertisers. They are the reason we are able to offer this program – for free – to local restaurants.
13695 Hwy. 9, Ste. 102 Milton, GA 30004 470-633-5290 *Not valid with any other offer. Must present coupon to redeem offer. Expires 12/31/21.
