The sections are what drove this project because the site was only about nine feet wide. This intervention acts as a light filter bringing light through the narrow site and down to the lowest point. Making the lowest space the reflection space takes advantage of the darkest area.

MATERIALS AND METHODS CANTILEVER

This project was done in a cantilever competition in which it won first prize. The requirements were that it had to hold 2, 30 lb. concrete cubes, one of which had to be 30� from the anchor. The concept was to use suspension to make the cubes look as light as possible. Plexiglass was used to imphasize the weightless qualities.
