Yolanda Hernando Burgos, Spain (1964) CEO of Abiopep, researcher, expert in innovation and knowledge transfer, she works to improve the competitiveness of agriculture through a firm commitment to research and development as the only way to consolidate innovative solutions PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM, 1994). She furthered her scientific training at the Institute of Food Research Norwich in the UK and has experience in the private sector. She has worked as Head of Knowledge Transfer (CEBAS-CSIC) and Visiting Scholar at the University of California (Berkeley). Since 2018, she has been directing Abiopep S.L., a spin-off of the plant pathology group of CEBAS-CSIC, dedicated to the production and commercialisation of solutions for the improvement of quality and productivity in vegetables, generating technologies related to plant health. Abiopep combines experience and knowledge in plant viruses, and in the use of biotechnological and traditional breeding tools. Emprendedor XXI Award 2015 (la Caixa-INFO, Murcia) and E-Woman award for professional career 2019 (Caixabank, Murcia).

Mª Eugenia Requena Alicante, Spain (1974) Telecommunications engineer with a passion for innovation and technology She studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and received his PhD in Industrial Technologies from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from ThePowerMBA. Her professional career has been developed in the public and private sectors. She has worked for Repsol and the consultancy firm Altran. She has also participated in projects on the study of materials that are invisible to radar and the drying of resins using microwaves, among others. In 2007 she joined the Fundación Parque Científico de Murcia for six years as head of the Supercomputing Centre, Business Development and the technical team. She continued her professional career in the multinational company Inforges, where she led the technical systems team as head of operations. Subsequently, she developed her work as Commercial Director of AGEDOS Business Datacenter. Currently, she has the challenge of leading the Isaac Peral Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen and develop the industrial fabric of the region of Murcia by promoting talent and innovation and facilitating collaboration between the Foundation's partner companies and entrepreneurial companies, startups and SMEs.
