INTRODUCTION THERE ARE COMMON THINGS IN ARCHITECTURE, EITHER IN STUDIES OR WORK- PRESENTATION. IT IS THE ONLY WAY THAT HAS BEEN USED TO APPROACH CLIENT’S BRIEF AND INTEREST TOWARDS OUR DESIGN. IT IS A POWERFUL WEAPON TO CARRY TO BE A GREAT, SKILLFUL AND RESPECTED ARCHITECT. A GOOD DESIGN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REACH CLIENT’S HEART WITH A POOR PRESENTATION.

CONCERNING THE ISSUE, MR. ZUL FADZLY B MOHD SALLEH, DECIDED TO MAKE A 3 DAYS ‘PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR, IN DESIGN BOOT CAMP’FOR 15 STUDENTS FROM UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA, FROM BSC 01 TO BSC 07.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS CAMP IS TO PRODUCE A SKILLFUL ARCHITECTURE STUDENT WHO ARE GOOD IN PHOTOSHOP, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR AND IN DESIGN, FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO PRODUCE A BETTER AND PROPER PRESENTATION AND DOCUMENTATION. EACH STUDENT CAME WITH A CHOSEN PREVIOUS DESIGN WORK AND WERE INSTRUCTED BY MR. ZUL FADZLY TO LEARN, CONTROL AND EXPLORE THE SOFTWARES TOOLS TO PRODUCE A BETTER PRESENTATION.

AIMANSLM Passionate about art and enjoy detailed doodling. The idea of designing the sculpture was taken from the concept of spinning pen also known as twirling pen, pen mawashi and pen tricks which is a form of object manipulation that involves the deft manipulation of a writing instrument with one’s hands.

Hanis Syahirah binti Md Sidek Student of Bachelor of Science in Architecture, UiTM Shah Alam. Maverick Studio. The design was taken from my final project during semester 02. The project was about a metaphore of the movement in batik making.

Dalia Qistina binti Mohd. Nasaruddin Inspired by the legendary game, Tetris, I design with my heart and desire to fulfill the dreams of people. Caxton Shophouse is no ordinary shophouse but rather a fascinating experiment with ghosts and spaces. The building lies on the street of Little India connected to a nearby Mansion of the Dead and is based on a simple Neo-classical architectural style.

People have been expressing themselves on software. ^^

Firstly, I would like to thank En Zulfadzly Bin Mohd Salleh for being a good teacher for us in this bootcamp. I really appreciate the knowledges that he gave us as someone said “Sharing is caring”. Lastly, I hope workshop like this will go on to next semester.

Lesson learnt from this bootcamp. Basicly, this bootcamp is an uplift from being just a photoshop user to another adobe branch product. It was a relief i could learnt this thing, thank you to Mr. Zul. Event like this is not just about learning new thing but also a platform to meet new people, discussing new idea and strategizing neew trick and way to develope, not in design but a way of life.
