Sales Success Results In Team Expansion At Superior Spas

Due to the continued sales success this year at Superior Spas, the Sarah Elphick (LEFT) with Andy Peach and Amy Littlewood team is growing with new roles recently created.

Sarah Elphick commenced with the Chesterfield-based business on 1 July as the new Head of Marketing. Sarah’s role is to help the business grow further by increasing brand awareness and sales. Sarah has a wealth of experience and was previously Head of Marketing & Sales at Forest Holidays. Over the coming months she will develop and lead the marketing strategy for Superior Spas including the brand, email marketing, social media and the websites.

Also joining Superior Spas in July was Mick Eaton whose position is as the new Continuous Improvement Specialist. Mick brings 36 years’ experience in safe systems at work and his role is to implement risk assessments, safe systems at work and warehouse procedures.

Amy Littlewood has joined as Logistics Administrator and brings a wealth of on-sea and airfreight logistics to the expanding Superior Spas team. Amy’s role is booking in orders, arranging deliveries of hot tubs and assisting the team where needed.

Andy Peach also joined as Digital Sales Administrator within the sales team. Andy has a wealth of experience working for systems. Andy will help to develop the accessories and products side of sales as the stock systems integrate with the company’s new Warehouse Management System.

When Darlly Europe were asked to consider launching, marketing and distributing their own range of spa essences into the hot tub sector, it was a complete blast-from-the-past for Phil Moseley, one of the two founders of Europe’s leading cartridge filter manufacturers.

“This was Déjà-Vue,” said Phil: “As the reason I entered the hot tub market 28 years ago was because of my involvement in studying how Aromatherapy can have a synergistic effect with Hydrotherapy which was then the setup of Giardino Aromatherapy for Whirlpool Baths and is still going strong.

“The benefits of essential oils are now well versed and proven, however, it is the way in which those therapeutic benefits can be transported into your body that is so endearing when using a hot tub.”

We all now know the fabulous effects Hydrotherapy has on the body in a hot tub, however, adding essential oil blends with salt carriers adds yet another dimension in giving the bather aromatic delights and further therapeutic benefits.

Whilst the history of hot springs and thermal medicine, including ‘fragrance water’, goes back to Hippocrates, Darlly have taken a more modern approach with their products, introducing the Spa Cocktail range.

As with all such creations the idea of cocktails was formulated at an innocent family gathering, the essences were being tested in the hot tub and his daughter said: “That looks just like the Daiquiri I have just made!“

So based upon the colours and not the taste or smell, it should be added that the range includes Daiquiri, Margarita, Moscow Mule, Blue Lagoon, Gin and Tonic, Purple Rain and Pink Gin Fizz.

New Superior Spas Website Now Live

As the UK’s largest hot tub supplier and with a need to support a growing network of dedicated partners across the UK and Europe, Chesterfield-based Superior Spas recently launched their new website as they start to invest more in marketing to consumers across the country and further afield.

The website focuses specifically on their Superior Spas branded products including the Dallas, Phoenix and Chicago range of hot tubs, their swim spas and the holiday let hot tubs. With full product specs and videos available.

New support features for customers include Frequently Asked Questions and hot tub manuals. There is a comprehensive section on becoming a partner including the benefits and an application form to join the team.

It is also much easier to locate a Superior Spas showroom with a search function to find the nearest one by entering a postcode.

The website will evolve over the next few months and more features will be added. Future content to be added will include an inspiration gallery with new imagery from customers around the UK.

The website launch comes at a busy time for the company which reported a record summer of business in 2020 where sales more than doubled compared to last year with interest for both hot tubs and swim spas seeing a huge surge with much of the country spending more time at home due to the lockdown or being furloughed.

The Mosaic Spa Company recently headed up a huge project with the Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort in Northern Ireland, as the luxury hotel recently underwent a major enhancement of its well-known spa facilities and Thermal Village.
