Trio J&K-Series License-free Spread-Spectrum Wireless Radios Trio J-Series (Ethernet) and K-Series (serial) radios are spread-spectrum, frequency-hopping data radios operating in the License-free 900MHz and 2.4GHz ISM frequency bands. J&K-Series radios offer cost-effective and feature-rich wireless Ethernet and serial-based communication links for today’s SCADA solutions. Easy Deployment and Configuration Trio J&K-Series radios may be configured as an advanced remote, a full-feature repeater/bridge, or in a redundant hot stand-by system with select E-Series radios. Mounting options include DIN-rail, stand-offs, panel, and integrated SCADAPack and SOLARPack variants for easy installation. Flexible Communications Options Multiple data stream support, channel sharing, and network bridging ensure that even the most challenging SCADA systems benefit from optimized data transmission and bandwidth utilization. Trio J&K-Series radios have dual antenna connections, an internal multiplexer, a comm port providing system-wide network management access, and interruption-free ‘hot’ user configuration for added convenience and flexibility. Multi-Master Synch Trio J&K-Series radios feature single site, multi-master synchronization to allow the simultaneous transmission of data without TX and RX interference, to increase system capacity considerably over similar competitor products. Trio J-Series Ethernet Radios Trio J-Series Ethernet radios offer superior data-throughput speeds to connect SCADA installations with IP over Ethernet technology. An embedded web-based management interface provides comprehensive remote configuration, management, and diagnostics capabilities. Trio K-Series Serial Radios Trio K-Series radios offer direct serial connection to local devices and wireless serial communication to remote network nodes. K-Series radios are optimized for Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 60870-5 communication protocols to ensure compatibility and interoperability with a broad range of SCADA solutions.

Trio E-Series Licensed Ethernet and Serial Data Radios Trio E-Series radios offer the performance, power, and flexibility needed to meet the communications requirements of today’s complex SCADA systems with 450MHz licensed-band Ethernet and serial data radios. Configurations to Fit Your SCADA Needs Trio E-Series radios include half and full-duplex remote radio variants, a base station model, and a hot stand-by base station controller that provides true redundant base station radio operation. Ethernet E-Series radios wirelessly extend hard-wired Ethernetbased LANs and serial communication links across long-haul distances and may be used to bridge geographically dispersed LANs or act as a serial-to-Ethernet gateway. Non-Ethernet E-Series radios are equipped with dual serial ports and are fully compatible with their Ethernet series counterparts. Powerful Communication Options Trio E-Series radios are fully user-configurable for transmitter power, frequency tuning (~13MHz sub-bands), and data port performance parameters. A dedicated system port, LAN port (Ethernet models only), serial user ports and an integrated multiplexer facilitates remote RTU configuration. Trio M-Series Licensed Serial Data Radio Trio M-Series radios combine excellent performance and versatility in a compact, affordable, and easy-to-use product, designed for your SCADA systems. Great Value for Serial Radio Applications The Trio M-Series’ RS-232 interface and 9,600bps over-air data transfer rate are tailored to the needs of small-to-medium sized SCADA systems requiring advanced functionality, dependability, and excellent return on investment. Optimized Communications Trio M-Series radios offer full CRC error-checked data and an on-board memory buffer allowing user-interface speeds of up to 19.2kbps. For added flexibility, Trio M-Series radios are compatible with specially enabled E-Series radios, making the product even more capable than similarly-equipped competitor radios. TView+ TView+ provides local and remote configuration of Trio radios and offers useful system diagnostics and communication performance data to ensure that radio networks are set up and tuned for optimum performance.
