I am engaged with my passion that is architecture. I had already gave my past 10 years in this field and I still want to explore more. My past four years (2012-2016) was all about interiors, I studied interior design and gained experience as well. My recent six years (2016-Present) was about architecture. I studied bachelor of architecture (B- Arch) and now I am gaining experience in same. My next goal is to study master of architecture. And I am in process to achieving this goal. Gaining qualifications is not my aim, but creating something great with those knowledge is one of my aspiration.

I belong to middle class family, where my own need became an inspiration. Whatever I wanted, I really had to work hard for those things. Even this happened with my studies too. Because of financial issues I was unable to complete my bachelor degree. But I still kept my headstrong and took education loan. My stubbornness to complete my bachelors became my inspiration. Something that really excite me in term of knowledge and either erudite person becomes my inspirations.

Good architecture is the reason we enjoy our surroundings. Mastery of design in it has always been appreciated, and for a long time in history, it has been a yardstick for emperors to measure their pedigree as glorious rulers. Even now, it demands great diversity according to the needs & timely changes in aspects of technologically, culturally, and physically to make a statement of progress. Learning this professional Master's course from the University, which is already a part of historical and cultural diversity by its surroundings and location, will strengthen my roots which I have built in the past.

PASSION-MY STORY

I completed my Interior Design Diploma in 2015 after my 10th in 2012. Thereafter, I joined an interior design firm where I worked for banking sector interiors. In my one year of work experience (2015-2016) as an Interior Designer, I got some opportunities to work with architects. I found architects have a vast knowledge of buildings & services, and they are given more value as compared to an Interior Designer in Built Environment. I wanted to stand along with architects, but for that a Diploma was not sufficient, which is when I started thinking about pursuing a degree in architecture and finally, in 2016, I cleared my entrance exam, NATA, which is a national level exam to fulfill the eligibility criteria to take admission in Bachelor of Architecture programs in India.

This is how my architecture journey started. I did my thesis project on Beach Resorts, Goa, in the 4th year. Then I joined an architectural apprenticeship which was the mandatory part of BArch’s academic curriculum in the final year/5th year. In my apprenticeship, I got opportunities to work for 5-star hill resort named ITC Welcome SPA & Resort, which is located near Jim Corbett National Park, Uttrakhand, India, and this project comes under the development of the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR). In 2021, I completed my BArch degree. I continued in the same firm as a Junior Architect, where I was appointed for an apprenticeship. I was learning so much with live projects that I didn't opt for another firm after graduation, and I am currently working here. This time I got the opportunity to work for a housing project named Raksha Paradise which consists of 53 individual villas and group housing.

MY INSPIRATION & VISION

Architect who have inspire me most is ZAHA HADID, as she has proven herself, a wonderful role model for women in the male-dominated field of architecture and she became the very first woman to win the Pritzker award in 2004. I really want to serve my skills in development of countries on a big scale through architecture as like she did or might be something different from her.

Master of Architecture will enhance my architectural knowledge and Project Complexity based on live projects and its diverse range of core subjects and disciplines will add unique skills to my Design Portfolio. I understand after completion of M-Arch, graduates will be given more responsibility on projects, and those responsibilities will eventually give me more knowledge and experience in the field. Studying M-Arch from outside the India, will give me opportunities to carry out specialist studies and research, which will help me to tackle upcoming responsibilities in the field. So, here I am looking forward to learn and enhance my skills with vast knowledge of architecture.

MY HOBBIES

I have not any specific kind of hobbies which I like to do in my free times on daily or weekly basis. But yes, there are few things which I like to do:-

• Learn something which I don’t know and not aware of it.

• Love to know about other countries, like their cultures and discipline.

• Even I like to volunteering by giving tuition classes for children who don’t afford to pay or with minimum fee.

• Sometimes I love to do photography of architectural monuments and buildings.
