Richard Buckminster Fuller • (born July 12, 1895 U.S .died July 1, 1983, Los Angeles, California.) • inventor, futurist, architect, and author. • Fuller was most famous for his lattice shell structures – geodesic domes, which have been used as parts of military radar stations, civic buildings, environmental protest camps and exhibition attractions. • he was expelled twice from Harvard University and never completed his college education. • Failure in a prefab construction business led him to search for design patterns that would most efficiently use Earth's resources for humanity's greatest good. • His innovations included the inexpensive, lightweight, factoryassembled Dymaxion House and the energy-efficient. • He designed the geodesic dome, the only large dome that can be set directly on the ground as a complete structure, and the only practical kind of building that has no limiting dimensions . • Fuller was followed (historically) by other designers and architects, such as Sir Norman Foster and Steve Baer, willing to explore the possibilities of new geometries in the design of buildings, not based on conventional rectangles.

. He inspired Norman foster to use light wight structure in his projects. . foster and fuller was very interesting about zero carbon mini city.and both liked science fiction fantasy and tried to apply it on their projects.
