A reception to celebrate the 65 th Anniversary of the Algerian Revolution was held by the Ambassador of Algeria in Greece, H.E. Dr. Noureddine Bardad-Daïdj, at the old world luxury hotel “Grande Bretagne”, on the 29 th of November, 2019.
A great number of distinguished guests participated to this reception, among them, Government officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps in Athens, business representatives, and intellectuals and friends of Algeria. In his welcome speech, Dr. Bardad-Daïdj greeted and recognized the bravery and the courage of the Algerian martyrs and the Greek soldiers who shared the values of freedom and independence that bind Algeria and Greece, during the Algerian Revolution and the Greek war to reject the invading during the World War II. principles, he reiterated his willingness to continue to work closely with the authorities of the New Greek Government to develop further the political, economic and cultural relations between both countries.
