P
olish Arabian horse breeding is in a process of development following the world’s modern trends and fashion. Experienced and strong group of Polish private breeders having some of top quality broodmares descending from Polish State Studs’ famous mares stock is carefully observing whats up on the world’s scene and is not willing to stay behind with investing in a quality and well producing stallions for their mares. One of the perfect examples of strong and fast development of Polish private breeders’ sector is Polia Arabians – new and ambitious breeding and show project from Poland. Polia Arabians is own by young family located at Wielkopolska, Western, most modern agricultural region of Poland. They started with horses as a hobby – horse riding

and having fun with friends having a stable and riding club nearby. Soon their focus went from big, half-bred horses to refined, beautiful Arabians, being one of the biggest prides of Poland. Although as beginners, the owners of new farm had the ambitions and visions from the beginning. They started with purchasing the mares that would catch their eyes but also what most important – that would be good broodmares in the future. This is how the herd was joined by snowy white Haomi (Salar x Hulala by Pamir) – granddaughter of beautiful Ecaho and great line of Hula from Białka Stud – famous for their floating movements. Her stable mate soon became Ella of Elmaran (Elmaran x Ellachabia by Al Lahab) – statue like chestnut filly with distinguished head and interesting pedigree combining the blood oftwo great Egyptian stallions as her grand sires – Al

Maraam and Al Lahab with 3 times famous Polish E-line of Milordka. It was not the end of search for the perfect broodmare – in the same year the valuable, dark bay Zara by Ganges was purchased from TK Arabian Center. She is full sister to Złota Księga from Michałów Stud, sold at Summer Sale 2015 for 30 000 euro, class winner of Junior Spring Show in Białka and Junior Reserve Champion and class winner at International Show in Poznań as well as second in class at Białka year after. Even more precious was another full sister of Zara – Złota Wieża, Polish Stakes Champion and Polish ational winner, sold at Pride of Poland 2007 for 85000 euro. In 2016 Zara delivered an amazing colt named Zali Boy for the new owners at Polia Arabians. He will soon start his lessons to be ready for 2017 show season!

The show debut in great style was another important goal for Polia Arabians just in its first year ofexistence. And the owners didn’t wait long to reach it – at the beginning of 2016 the decision was made to find a good pedigree and showy filly – wherever in the world… After careful search with help and advice of TK Arabian Center the choice went to Ekstern and AS Sinans Pacha granddaughter from ordlys Araber. She already had one title of Bronze Medal Champion at International Show in her homeland – orway. But the metamorphosis and the final result of the new filly just in her first year of being at Polia Arabians probably exceeded even the new owners expectations! She started with hard competition at B international show in Buksza, Poland, taking good score

CETULA (EL NABILA B X CELTA) GINERVA (WERBUM X GEORGIA / MONOGRAMM) and high 3rd place against some of best Polish state and private owned fillies. It was a warm up. Working under careful and strict eye of her Polish trainer – Tomasz Kotyński Gallileah went together with her stable mate – Ella of Elmaran back to Scandinavia for Thousand Lakes Forssa International Show in Finland and the show belonged to her! She was not only class winner, the highest scored female but also Gold Medal Champion! Her collegue – Ella of Elmaran took second place and bronze medal in junior fillies. Most probably one of them will return to the show rings in 2017. . . At the shows we will surely see in the future some of the
upcoming Polia Arabians foals. Two recent additions to the broodmares band are two of greatest producing mares in Poland being kept in private hands – Ginerva, dam of several show entitled horses including Gold and silver international champion Gizelda by Ekstern, Top Five Polish ational Filly Ginessa by Shangai EA and exotic Ginegra by Ajman Moniscione. She is again back in foal to Ajman Moniscione for 2017 foal to be born at Polia Arabians. Second mare purchased recently is beautiful El abila B daughter Cetula bred by Janów Podlaski Stud. She produced Silver Medal Champion in Berlin and Bronze Medal Champion Colt of Emerald Trophy – Cetulion by Kahil Al Shaqab and very refined filly by Ajman Moniscione born in

The horses band at Polia Arabians is completed by two interesting stallions – exotic, proven sire Parnassus by Ajman Moniscione bred by Zalia Arabians, and rare in Poland – Straight Egyptian colt Mahran Halim bred by famous Ponnath Arabians in Germany. This last colt, after breaking up under the saddle at Tomasz Kotyński place he also debuted for very first time at the show and also in amazing style against some best Egyptian horses at Egyptian Event Europe gaining 3rd place and qualification
Although building the farm is still in the process – Polia Arabians will have two locations – smaller farm for the most important broodmares and big 50-horse stable in another location is just being finished.
