The Breeding Program At Cedar Ridge

OVER 50 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BREEDING Located in Jordan, Minnesota

Dear Friends,

Over the last few years we’ve spent a great deal of time, money and energy breeding. Our breeding facility is stateof-the-art and has amazing pasture space to let horses just be. We also have an amazing team who are caring and knowledgeable and have worked with a good number of vets in the area.

We have recently reduced our breeding numbers, so are able to share our facility with others now. We are very excited to offer you: a team to assist you with your breeding needs, recipient mares, and boarding of your mares and/or stallions.

We know a thing or two about what it takes to bring a foal into the world--we’ve topped the breeding charts the last few years--and hope you will join us in 2023 to help your breeding program succeed.

David Botha is an experienced and talented horseman who began working at the worldrenowned Michael Byatt Arabians in 2004. There, he handled many of their acclaimed stallions for collection, assisted with breeding work on mares, as well as foaling. In 2015, David moved to Argent Farms and performed many of the same breeding management tasks, while also maintaining care, conditioning and handling of many of the show horses.

David’s last position prior to his move to Cedar Ridge Farm Manager was at Orrion Farms in Scottsdale, Arizona.
