Arabian Finish Line and Horsereporter would like to thank Shadwell Arabians and Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his enthusiastic and unwavering support of Arabian racing worldwide. Sheikh Hamdan was introduced to horse racing as a student in the United Kingdom, and he established his own racing stable in 1980. From there, the Shadwell blue and white colors have had a presence in many of the world’s top racing and breeding jurisdictions.

He will be missed.

We are, however, extremely happy to hear that his daughter, Sheikha Hissa Hamdan Al Maktoum will be carrying on the Shadwell tradition. We wish her continued success.
