Burning Sand Top Sire Again

Burning Sand (San Lou Romirz x Du Smaagda) continues his dominance as Arabian racing’s leading sire. He topped the rankings once again by earnings and number of wins.

His leading earners were multiple Darley Champions Pad dys Day and Uptown Sandy Girl. Majd Al Arab, who stands in France, finished second by both earnings and number of wins. His leading earner was RB Rich Lyke Me.

In a tight contest of leading broodmare sire by earnings, TH Richie (Calin Du Loup x Char Rich Louise) topped Burning Sand by a little over $4,000 with $145,447. It was Burning Sand, how ever, that edged out TH Richie for number of wins. His 63 producing daughers had 18 starters, 7 winners and 10 wins compared to TH Ri chie’s 11 producing daughters who had 8 starters, 7 win ners and 9 wins.
