CLUB

This two-storey building is dedicated to ballet community of Moscow. Its purpose is to host different kinds of events which require hall spaces. Volumes used in the building represent dancing silhouettes of women and men. With the use of skylights inner spaces are flooded with sunlight at daytime and stream light to the oudoors at nighttime. Inside you can follow a division: ground floor is a public place where big events take place and downstairs you can find classrooms and rooms reserved for «clubmate» or in other words dancer and choreographs who can rehearse, train and make decorations for the show

ARENA

The initial idea behind this parking building for 250 cars was to create a public space where you could not only park cars but also make an exhibition for popular in Russia drift movement. The bulding is situated south from Moscow and replaces one-storey individual parking cells field. Clear resemblance with the Circus Maxima is due to its image of an ancient racing track. Tree-shaped ribbon seizes the facade to connect the bulding with nearby landscapes. Pedestrian and vehicle movents are separated to minimize possible accidents. Inside the builduing

you will find multiple walkways supporetd by tree-like columns which connect different floors. You can access your by an elevator

OVERSEER

Yet another lifesaving guards shift. Pair of lifeguards observe a cosy station, which resembles a snowwhite lighthouse ripping out from a rocky cliff. Having settled down, they find all the necessary amenities, as well as a pier for two rescue boats. A circular observation tower will allow them to quickly detect an accident. Having delivered those in trouble to the base, rescuers will be able to lift the injured in an elevator. If weather permits they can relax on the spacious terrace and enjoy the beautiful view.

CONTRAST

The river pier on the Volga bank in Kasimov symbolizes two contrasting environments, on one hand Kasimovs classical architecture and modern architecture on the other. In this case a cylindrical core connects an airy pavillion and a more «human» and natural smaller volume with metrical facade paying hommage to order systems oftenly used in classical architecture. The function of the river station is complemented by a multi-level environment that surrounds it. Its goal is to create a public space for citizens and tourists.

PAINTERS HOUSE

In this house, an artist will be able to find an endless number of landscape subjects, since the cylindrical shape of the house opens the spectate the nature in any direction. Entering the house, the inhabitant discovers two paths - a passage to the living area and a right turn along the stairs that send him to the bedrooms. Walking along past smaller bedrooms to the main one the visitor’s eye is accompanied by a greenhouse with exotic plants where you can have a breakfast or a calm conversation. The staircase leads to the master bedroom and a workshop flooded with light from which you can walk around the house on the terrace. Like the greenhouse wooden elements are designed to connect the building with nature surrounding it.
