Markets in Mexico are part of theculture its colors, smells and sounds vibrate in our sences and be come part of the imaginary world . When trying to create a new type of market one can’t ignore the relevance of such a task .As the basic economic activities from which markets products come from, are hard to come by, due to development problems in Mexico Thats when Whole Foods Inc. come in , beaause their opolicy of homegrown crops might just help develope better farming and agriculture in Mexico.

The project is perfectly placed adyacent to Ballindam park which happens to be highly benefic. The market had to have natural ventilation and light, thus after a whole analysis of the site, it was desided to be build as a conglomeration of axis walls This walls dictate the whole program and the project itself along with generating natural ventialtion and catching zenital light

market research

Querétaro, México

Paradox Lofts is a project that is developed by the analysis of the user because in the begininng of Lofts that started in NY in the 70’s the typology was only for artists, but to take a different approached to today the key was to design an alternative space for all CREATIVE people who want the possibility to adapt the space to their needs. In Queretaro exist an Academy of Arts and Dance called PROART, that given the level of customers has been the need to expand to another branch in Juriquilla but still has not been enough.

How many mt2 do you actually need in your house? What services do you need?

QUERETARO

SANTIAGO DE QUERETARO

In Mexico, we don´t have correct concept of what a house is, we only worry about the space and not in the functionality. From here we arrived to the term of “micro-housing” that defines a very small space that contains all the elements for living in confort. In Querétaro there is a type of housing, the closer it is rent this furnished rooms, this is why we have a great opportunity in the field of business and architectural development.

The building has a third skin , used to project movies, concerts, etc. aproyechando space tier of The Hill project. Likewise, it can be used as advertising space , where the investor would have extra income.

The idea of creating a space of micro housing is very innovative in this city. Likewise, the intention of the project is to create a space of social interaction, where users can enjoy a lifestyle in style community vertical neighborhood .

The connection between a great idea and success 73

the problem

GREAT IDEAS Throughout the last 2 decades, there has been a business subdivision and segregation; where big offices and corporations have broken down into micro businesses (1-4 employees). This segregation has caused individualism and isolation within the small businesses. Now a-days, this micro office are looking to generate an important source of income through an independent way. There are a lot of great ideas to generate money, but there is no viable economic proposal to turn this idea into reality because of the lack of knowledge in finances and administration. Here in link, we present an architectonical solution that adapts to the new ways of working of the millenial generation, creating a platform where great ideas meet success.

CONCEPT DIAGRAM

The project seeks to create relaxation and meditation spaces using the element of the water as the main theme. Instead of making an ordinary rectangular pool, the program embrace the water shaping it until an irregular path is created. The path takes you to discover a series of experiences marked by a plastic language in search of poetic concrete spaces.
