The terrain is hilly, with a maximum elevation variation of 4 metres within the perimeter. There exists an established golf course behind the location.
The auditorium is carefully located such that the floor follows the contours of the building and the roof does not exceed the height limit while catering to the ceiling height requirement.
Facing a wide gorgeous golf course, there are semi-open spaces and workshops.

Sunnyside Hollow: Hillside Gated Community Thrissur, Kerala
Semester : VI
Brief: To explore the idea of housing and understand its basics and complexities and design multi dwelling units with a fair idea of providing good lighting and ventilation.vUnderstanding the scale and proportions involved while designing living spaces for more than one family. To analyse and learn the principles involved while designing common spaces shared by many user groups. Proposal: One of the emerging trends is the relocation of people from crowded cities to suburbs where personal living space becomes more generous. While some may have returned to work in their respective offices, many others are still working remotely from home and this trend may continue well into the future. Pulippara in Puthur is in a good position to benefit from this trend. Located just 20-minute drive from Thrissur city, this suburban area is close enough to the city while sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Sunnyside Hollow is a gated community centred on a lake at the base of a hill and having a vernacular and earthy touch. This is an ideal location for contemplation and being one with nature.
