This boutique hotel concept is located in Downtown Phoenix. The hotel includes a lobby, 9 rooms, 2 of which are ADA accessible, vertical circulation, and support spaces. While the design concept remains inspired by the vibrance and industriality of the city, the space offers guests a relaxing experience whether it is a staycation or a business trip.

geri + ash

A proposed concept for a shelter-based health facility stems from the idea of comfort, safety, and stability. The name itself is derived from the exisiting site: Gerardo’s Building and Arvizu’s El Fresnal Grocery Store in Downtown Phoenix. The intent is to reflect renewed energy and layers of healing within the space to establish a safe haven for the LGBTQ homeless youth.

courtyard + bar studies

Currently an office space in Phoenix, this is a proposed design concept for a fine foods store centralized on the theme of indulgence. While preserving the architectural integrity of the building by Al Beadle, a new interpretation of the space introduces zones that heighten the user experience. Indulgence is depicted through the introspection, insertion, and cross-programming.
