DESCRIPTION: These sturdy and super easy-to-use pots allow your plants to grow their best possible roots in the most natural way. As the roots grow out of these porous pots and hit the air, they will stop growing forward and branch out laterally along the root shaft. This air pruning causes the plant to produce more root tips, which are the all-important part of the plant that uptakes water and nutrients. Fertilpots break down as the plant grows in and through it. Once the roots pass through the pot walls, the pot and plant will meld together as one root ball. These pots can be used in automated systems, don’t require drainage holes, eliminate transplant shock and can be used in hydroponics and aquaponics.

SUGGESTED USE: Spacing should make an allowance for greater plant growth compared to a plastic pot of similar dimensions. Fertilpots are designed to retain their strength during the growth cycle but degrade quickly after planting into the next container or landscape. Handle with care. They are organic and suitable for composting.

DESCRIPTION: This kit provides an easy and convenient start to your growing, no matter what (or how much) you want to grow. These pre-drilled plugs and trays have been developed to give your plants a strong start in life by encourage robust root growth. They offer flexible aeration, optimum lateral root development, excellent water control, maximum cation rates, insulation and natural buffing, and are sturdy but easy to remove. They are made of a fully biodegradable proprietary mix of coco coir, sphagnum peat moss and coconut shell biochar.

SUGGESTED USE: This kit contains 50 Q-plugs growing media, size 40/40 (1.25” x 1.25” with a 1/8” hole). A carrier tray and a 50-cell plug tray. A refill pack of 50 plugs is available separately. Simply add the seeds, cuttings, clones or transplants of your choice. Once your plants are too big for the tray, the plugs can be removed and replanted; refill plugs go in easily to replace them.

DESCRIPTION: Made from the natural byproducts of coconut cultivation (crushed coconut husks), this premium coco coir product is renewable and sustainable. In addition to being earth-friendly, coco coir offers many advantages: it is free of bacteria and fungal spores, improves soil by slowly adding organic matter, has a low salt content and contains very little dust. It is also easy to hydrate and is resistant to mold and mildew.
