DESCRIPTION: This simple 2” x 2” cardboard box will give your beneficials a place to safely hatch out of reach of most predators. Hang directly on plant, crop canopy, tree or pole in a shaded location close to the pest infestation that you are treating. Once they hatch, the beneficials will head over to where you need them.
TARGET: Leafminers. DESCRIPTION: These tiny wasps lay eggs near Diglyphus isaea leafminer larvae in the first and second stages, which they sting and paralyze. The egg hatches with the larvae feeding on the paralyzed leafminer. Under optimal conditions (68-80°F), each female can lay up to 300 eggs. SUGGESTED USE (Depending upon level of infestation): Best used to treat low level infestations or preventively. Ideal for warm climates or spring/ summer releases where leafminer control has proven difficult with pesticides.
