ABOUT PROJECT

THE PROJECT IDEA HAS BEEN DEVELOPED DEPENDING ON THE NEW URBAN ARRANGEMENT OF THE NEW CBD AS AN EVENT CENTER FOR THE WHOLE CITY OF IZMIR. THE BUILDING DESIGNED AS A POLE CENTER ATTRACTING ALL ART, DESIGN AND CRAFTS-RELATED EVENTS IN DIFFERENT SCALES. THE BUILDING DESIGN IDEA MAINLY DEVELOPED UPON THE IDENTITY SHIFT OF ART CENTERS FROM GALLERY SPACES INTO ART MASS PRODUCTION SPACES. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY CREATING AN OPEN SYSTEM OF ARCHITECTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL PROGRAMS WHERE THE MAIN PARAMETERS OF USERS, PRODUCTS AND EXPERIENCE ARE INTERSECTING IN DIFFERENT SCALES, SCENARIOS AND PUBLICITY LEVELS.
