In the case with Pripyat the best thing i can do is to preserve existing condition and edit it with new architectural elements to emphasize the „Sublime“ feeling. The key to preserving is not in the buildings - they have no value, but in understanding the value of event that took place there. The shift from life to death . Project is based on creating a border around the abandoned soviet city. This symbolic and rhetorical curtain evokes the feeling of separation and real border between inside and outside world . Nature inside is conservated and becoming a sanctuary. People are restricted to walk on the ground of Pripyat . They can only see it from above - bridges and cableway road , along with cart road -this is the new passes for humans. . Animals walk free in the zone in outer circle, without any danger to be hunted and the nature takes over the city.

This project explores architecture at the interface between fluctual landscapes and inhabitation, in environments, which are subjected to flooding events. It is learning from current projects in the Netherlands, where the authorities are adapting towns and landscapes to accommodate the predicted increased risk of flooding brought about by climate change and riparian development. The programme develop architectural interventions, which will establish a sustainable balance between flood management and the requirements for modern urban life patterns and increased biodiversity.

June 2014

Our memories live with us , they are always around , just on the back of our shoulder , so easy to reach every second every day we can just look back and refeel them again. but we forgot about them. and they became thin and vague , some of them vanished because we didn’t turn to them for a long time-they have been replaced by trash and garbage of everyday worries .We store our memories in details. In the objects that surround us in our traditions and rituals. Without memories we lose ourselves,we begin to forget and cannot remember. Memories bring us tranquillity, peace, joy. Even a moment of nostalgia can help us to move in the present day The technocrat doesn’t reject the modern world, he is surrounded by it, if he is to survive, he must look to the past for moral strength. He must find his moustache.

24

MANIFESTO . HELPING TECHNOCRAT TO FIND MOUSTACHE. Moustaches are grotesque. Who has them now? The misfits and the retrogrades. Technocrat may have a pince-nez, which he wears at home to read a book, a real one, on real paper, but only after a long day of seeing the world through his new Google glasses. Let’s imagine, at home, next to the iPod docking station sit an old gramophone a cherished memory from his grandfather’s father. The sense of inherited nostalgia calms and soothes, it warms, it evokes memories. We want to visit the past. We associate ourselves with antiquity, to remind us how far we have come and to keep us grounded in uncertain times. Memories and memory. Serenity without emotion. It is inherently human to long for the past, to idealize the past, to try and seize on the details of the past and we yearn for images of yesterday – comparing them with today. A china tea set, all that is left of her grandmother, carefully exhibited on the table, a glance reminds her of the love and warmth, now only a memory.Rituals are abandoned and fads are embraced.Traditions and customs link us with the past, but they are being lost. As humanity drives forward chasing the ‘next big thing,’ our traditions are left by the wayside. Human contact with a stranger is frowned upon. Technocrats have moved beyond this, they are machines, void of emotion. If we are to avoid this dystopia we must look to the past, to the moral code that has served us for generations. The technocrat doesn’t reject the modern world, he is surrounded by it, if he is to survive, he must look to the past for moral strength. He must find his moustache. What will keep u warm at night what will fulfill us when we are alone , when there is nothing is left is it the laugh of your child, is it the freezing touch of first snow, is it a salty breathe of ocean wave? is it a christmas dinner with your family< is it a granny’s bakery taste< is it a freshly squeezed coffee on gloomy morning? what is it for you ? Where your memories

Folly is a building constructed primarily for decoration, but either suggesting through its appearance some other purpose. Often they have some of the appearance of a building constructed for a particular purpose, such as a castle or tower, but this appearance is a sham. Equally, if they have a purpose, it may be disguised. They are often eccentric in design or construction. There is often an element of fakery in their construction. They were built or commissioned for pleasure. There is no doors or windows in this perspective tower....to get the prise of beautiful view “you have to go all way down to go up
