ASHLEY FURNITURE HOME STORE; ISHANYA MALL, PUNE, INDIA ( AREA= 11,000 square feet) The project involved end to end co-ordination of the entire project of the retail home store. The work involved project co-ordination from the inception to the handover of the project with all the contractors, sub- contractor, material board selection as per the Ashley finishes and lighting standard. Health and safety standard was taken care of, as per the local municipal codes. Store set up that included visual merchandising was done along with the Ashley Visual Merchandiser.
GAUTIER; ISHANYA MALL, PUNE, INDIA ( AREA= 2,400 square feet) The project involved end to end co-ordination with the brand in France. The work involved project co-ordination from the inception to the handover of the project with all the contractors, material board selection as per the standard Gautier finishes. Health and safety standard was taken care of, as per the local municipal codes. Successfully coordinated the visual merchandising of the store.

The work involved project co-ordination from the inception to the handover of the project with all the contractors, sub- contractor, material board selection as per the Natuzzi material board and lighting standard. Health and safety standard was taken care of, as per the local municipal codes.

EVOLUTION OF PLAN-FORM
SECOND RENAISSANCE The aim was to design a computer school with vernacular climate responsive approach to achieve optimum human comfort level with minimum expense of energy in a long run. The site was spread over 15 acres. The computer institute was placed on the rear side of the plot which was close to a lake, so as take benefit evaporative cooling. While doing the site planning the admin block being public block was placed in front, followed by academic block. Recreation block was placed on the rear side so that the block also had an overlooking view of the lake. Each block especially the academic blocks was designed so as to take benefit of prevailing south westerly wind. All the walls that were on external side or courtyard side were used for fenestration for natural ventilation. Courtyard was designed in all the blocks especially to get proper ventilation and passive solar cooling effect during summers; courtyard effect. All the window fenestration had overhanging projection and vertical fins for sunshading during summers.

The light colored brick wall was has high reflectance and thus getting lower solar heat gain, making use of Albedo effect. Also all the built forms were completely surrounded by plantation on all sides except for entry/exit . The courtyards also had plantation at ground level and had a transition bridge at both ground and first floor level. The hipped tiled roof with overhang eaves is provided as an element of vernacular design that will provide more buffer space in the space in ceiling during extreme weathers.
The typical academic block lobby was designed for an area with hustle bustle of students. The art work being displayed on the free-standing boards in the lobby near the window wall . The staircase was also planned to be used by students for sitting apart from circulation. The arc shaped seating is where student can sit and chit-chat, the arc shape slowly transforms in the flooring design. Floorings are all concrete finish and hence pops of vibrant yellow color is used through wall, furniture, etc Even the court-yards are interesting spaces with plantation and seating. The central courtyards of the academic blocks were planned so as to have covered bridge at first and second level. These bridges were to be used as common passages and were also used to display artwork during some day exhibitions. Typical classrooms had two types of seating, student could do their own study or sit for the lecture. The arc seating and table are designed mainly to provide freedom of thoughts . WEEKEND HOUSE The house was located in the outskirts of the city of the city of Bangalore. The aim to design energy efficient house with Indian style of public and private spaces. The house was designed with a central courtyard covered by pergola. The front porch is a public living area. Clerestory window were provided natural sun-lighting. Overhang roof was designed for sun shading of wall and clerestory windows, even the windows were covered with projections on all sides. The terrace at first floor level had planter on open sides. The central courtyard and the and the front yard had a water body. To prevent mosquitoes inside the house from the central courtyard , being in tropical country, the pergola was covered with mosquito mesh. FIRST FLOOR PLAN

Various options were worked out. The reflective pool in the front was provided to provide a soothing effect to eyes.
ARIES- 3 ACRES FINEST LIVING HOME GATED COMMUNITY
This was my first project as an Architect wherein I designed the entire project. The ARIES Master Plan was spread over nearly 3 acres of lush landscape and houses were organized along a tree-lined avenue. These East and West-facing contemporary homes were designed to optimize natural light and ventilation and bring the ‘outside’ in! This was achieved mainly through the ‘C’ shaped plan. The designs were classy and contemporary.
The interesting planning of east avenue were done very logically so as to accommodate two families in single villa with the proper use of stair-case, with each family residing in at-least 2 levels. The west avenue villas were planned with an intent to keep every family at different level. The model were also made up mainly for client

CLUB-HOUSE FLOOR PLAN
The club-house was designed at the end of the plot so that it is well isolated from the internal residential zoning. The club-house had varoius indoor activity and a muiltipurpose hall for any public function and meetings. Tennis court, basket ball court, swimming pool and childen’s play area were also provided for outdoor activity. The outdoors of the clubhouse, residences, and roads were well landscaped. THE EMPYREAN CLUBHOUSE, BANGALORE The site was spread over 7 acres in the suburb of Bangalore, India. I was involved in the design detailing, construction documentation process of the project. Working under the principal architect, I was handling the entire co-ordination with all the consultants involved, including structural, PHE the site engineers. The project had its own complication with long cantilevers and sloped roof for rain water storage. When it was designed, it was the largest clubhouse in Bangalore. 12 15

SOMERSET COUNTY The site was spread over 8 acres of land. The residential built up units were spread over 53 percent of the plot area and the remaining 47 percent was taken over by open spaces including parks and roads. Soon after the entry was a park spread over 1000 square meters which acted as sooth to eyes. The landscaped areas included open gardens with rain-water collection ponds, lily pools, children’s parks, etc.

Among all villas this was one of it’s kind. This was designed with an idea to achieve C-shaped plan with a central private court-yard. The villa was designed to capture the prevailing south westerly wind. Ground floor living room had view of front yard with pool as well as private Front glass façade provided complete open view that brought the outside nature in! WIND FLOW

HITECH HOSPITAL This was sixth level in Hitech hospital. Each level is 10,000 square meters in area. This level housed student and resident doctors various reading rooms, library, computer room, journal, record room, toilets, and service floor for the entire hospital building. This project was complicated in terms of various exceptional services that are required in a hospital including , oxygen lines, gas lines, etc. The hospital had finally turned out like a 5- star hotel in terms of interiors with high READING ROOM SITE PHOTOGRAPH class hygienic healthcare facilities. This project was completely handled by me with my boss.

This level housed various areas like Operation Theatre, cath-labs, Pre-operation rooms, recovery room, ICU, Burn’s ICU, Isolation ICU, Resident doctor’s room, including toilets, and all relevant utilities. This project was complicated in terms of various exceptional services that are required in a hospital including , oxygen lines, gas lines, etc. The hospital had finally turned out like a 5- star hotel in terms of interiors with high class hygienic healthcare facilities. BLOOMING DALE,KODAIKANA The site was spread over 12 acres on the hills of Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu, India. The site had a slope of almost 45 degrees. The aim was to design weekend houses for the with options for different scales of family. The site was difficult to work with the kind of contours it had. So it was decided to opt for cut and fill mechanism. It was designed like terrace farming with steps. One level of road and house were at same level and another level of road and house at another level.

3D VIEW- CONTEMPORARY VILLA - DOBLE STOREY The main differentiator of contemporary villa to tropical villa was of the roof. As the name suggests tropical has pitched roof with over hanging eaves. The roofing was finished with shingles. The roof of contemporary villa was at an angle of 15 degrees to provide slope for rain water harvesting. Each houses were designed with an idea of rain water harvesting tank behind, which would be used to water all the landscaped area in each plot. The houses were mainly wooden construction.

The club house was designed to cater all the resident’s of Blooming dale with facilities like playing indoor games, swimming, cafeteria, library, etc. it also housed a viewing tower at the top wherein resident’s and guest could come have a valley view down. The club-house was mainly a stone masonary construction with overhanging roof and lot of glass wall in the frontage for . The constructed w a s t h o u g h t m a i n l y T h e g a t e d community had various public parks as breathing zones for all the zones. A small super market was provided at the entry for daily grocery shopping.
