Evolution Of Community Model
In 1939, New York's early industrialization boomed, and a large number of factories in the city center led to environmental degradation, and city dwellers moved to the suburbs. The PABT was built to facilitate suburban commuting.

Since 1980, New York’s industrial upgrading has reduced the environmental impact of modern manufacturing. The urban population has relocated, and the functions of urban blocks have begun to mix. However, the PABT still maintains a single terminal function. It leads to the lack of neighborhood vitality and traffic congestion.
This project focus on the unequal distribution of urban resources caused by traditional function zoning. Taking transportation terminal as the research object, explore a community model with more mixed functions to promote the effective distribution of urban resources
The hyper-community model mobilized by manifestation in digital technology has no clear boundary between various functions, and functions can be mixed with each other, so that they can be quickly transformed into other functions. The area connection can provide information exchange as much as possible.
HYBRID COMMUNITY 2.0
Considering the future development trend of manufacturing industry, a hybrid community model under the condition of new technology is proposed
