The Bank Building Design

Within the Toxteth Dingle area sits a cliff, carved into the landscape causing a disconnect between the commercial river side and the residential side. The masterplan aimed to reconnect these two through the use of an artificial landscape with many twisting paths and defined routes. The aim of the residential intervention within this site, is to produce an internal park within the residential buildings and artificial landscape to produce habitats for other species while also creating sheltered spaces with quite living conditions.

The Brunswick train station was relocated to the south of the masterplan, within a new build under the tower and stair cases to the far south. This means that the modular design can be repeated again and again along the cliff edge towards the north until it meets the road, allowing it to occupy the space left behind, reconnecting the top of the cliff to the bottom of the cliff.
