05/2019 – 07/2019 ARCHITECTURAL INTERN, DOMOS
Assisted in drawing plans, sections and elevations in AutoCad with a team of architects where the projects were retrofits and residential expansions. Developed time management and software skills. In addition to gaining insight on how abroad practises function and ex;experiencing first had different cultures for a long period of time.
06/2015 – 07/2015 WORK EXPERIENCE, LAING O’ROUKE
Worked with a variety of departments to gain insight into the industry for 1 month. Responsible for entering data into Microsoft Excel before sending to clients. I was also taught how to use the 3D Software EcoDomus. Developed Microsoft office skills.
08/2018 – 2021 WAITRESS, SYFT AGENCY
Working with customers in a variety of different locations from different backgrounds. Developed communication and customer/client care skills.

Volunteering with Zimbabwean Women’s Organisation (ZIWO). Took part in a project with the Zimbabwean Women Organization supported by the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Facilitating events promoting women and diversity.
Participated in the RIBA Black History Month 2020 Instagram taker with the Momentum Collective Organisation.
Volunteered for the LJMU Reciprocal Mentoring Programme where BAME students and staff were partnered with senior members of faculty to tackle conversations of race and identity and the attainment gap.
I completed the RIBA Future Architects mentoring scheme across the course of six months gaining more insight into life in practise, the business of architecture and studying ongoing and completed projects via drawing and site visits .
A member of the RIBA North West Family Scheme, where 2 students are partnered with 3-4 practising architects at different stages in their career to create a safe space fore discussions and post graduation advice..
Whenever possible, experiencing other cultures through both domestic and international travel is a key hobbie of mine as there is an abundance to learn about historic and modern architecture.
