About Me

I originally did a year studying Fine Art but realised over my first year that it was the design and construction of exhibition spaces, productions and pop-up instillations and events I enjoyed the most. I realised that I wasn’t on the path that I wanted and re evaluated my degree, two of my favourite artists Ed Cater, and Aldo Rossi made me realise that the study Architecture was far more poetic than my first impression. My work experience at DK-Architects only furthered my drive to study architecture. I have a hands-on approach and have not let my love of physical art and form deter my development of CAD software in my work, rather they supplement each other.

I am a determined, reliable and hardworking individual who is keen to apply myself in a challenging new setting; having a proactive nature coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and British Sign Language Level One, I can clearly and concisely communicate in most settings. I work well as part of a team, but can also focus on more bespoke work independently, with a keen eye for detail. In 2021, I gained a place on the RIBA Student Mentoring Scheme and gained insight from my mentor at Brock Carmichael Architects Liverpool. The mentorship has advanced my existing understanding of an architectural practice from my self found work experience at DK Architects in the summer of 2018. I hope to put my skills into practice and continue to develop my work.
