LA Proposal for a competition in LA. The starting point for the project arises from the idea of reinterpreting the typical Los Angeles Low-rise house, adapted to a new reality, with new challenges, linked to the climate, sustainability, affordability and community relations. The project was thought to enhance the existence of a healthy coexistence among residents, through the creation of an exterior area for common use.

BV Proposal for a Chapel competition in Luanda. I developed a minimal approach , to create a unique character, different from other constructions, but perfectly integrated into the landscape. It is intended that the Chapel materializes itself through a sculptural gesture that marks the landscape and that establishes the bridge between the everyday world and the spiritual world. The curved lines create a sinuous movement that leads to the entrance to the chapel. On the main facade, the wall rests on a water plane that mirrors the building and gives it a sacred character,

PT More than just creating a commercial building we want to create a public space, that could connect people, and be used for multiple purposes, like meetings, playgrounds, shopping or just relaxing. The building is placed in a low-density residential area so that we want to maintain the same profile and recreate a traditional street mall. The Center will have a total of 16 stores all facing a central patio, which is assumed as the heart of the project, with green areas, a children's playground, and restaurants.

HS The project site is located on a hillside between two different road levels. Aside from the challenge, the topography affords panoramic views to the mountain of Sintra. The central concept is the configuration of spaces vertically, taking advantage of the Morphology of the site for access, privacy and views. The house volume appears to float from the hill side, creating a composition that appears to defy gravity.

RH The project consists on a house reconstruction, in a small rural town in Sintra, Portugal. The idea was to create a modern interior space for a young couple, but maintaining the historic elements. Because of its location we had to comply with the strict guidelines of the Sintra City Council conservation officer. The house is fully integrated with its environment by using local stones in the walls, in order to respect and preserve the identity of the town landscape. This project is already constructed and habited.

ID As an Interior Designer I have made several proposals for residential projects, including custom kitchens, bathrooms, and closets, and more. Always focused on creating a good environment for living and using natural elements, like plants, wood, stones, natural light and natural textures. I’ve been done interior design projects for countries like USA, UK, Portugal, Italy, Canada, respecting the local way of living but adding my own style.
