Description:
This project is located in an abandoned factory in the neighborhood of La Boca, where the first industrial units of the City of Buenos Aires were established.
The main idea was to reinvent the concept of production and adapt it to what it means nowadays. Technology has changed our productive processes and this is why the project is defined by this CMYK conveyor belts. This would bring the possibility to adapt it to the concept of a future city connected by this productive belts all around. The factory place would work as a cultural center for the city with exhibition spaces and workshops. Then, the housing buildings were located strategically to have the best sun and ventilation conditions.
The CMYK conveyor belts compound the productive processes in this project by having the workshops and co-working areas inside.

NAUTICAL MUSEUM I ACADEMIC ASSIGNMENT

Description:
The nautical museum is located in Olivos, north of the city of Buenos Aires. This neighborhood still preserves its relationship with the river, something that did not flourish in the capital. The museum is located both on land and on the river, highlighting the rupture of the traditional checkerboard grid. This rupture is related to the advance of man over the river, to gain ground for commercialization, as a reflection and critique. The labyrinthine assembly of the two grids generates volumetrically the different promenades of the museum, with a stable exhibition hall and with different temporary exhibitions.

Description:
Fundación Vida Silvestre is the representative of the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) in Argentina. Its offices were situated in a traditional 1940s living building of the city. The project consisted in demolishing every possible wall and maintaining the structure to make an open plan office more suitable to the co-working culture. The columns and moldures were restored to honor the building history. Furthermore, sustainable technologies were added to the office plan to make this project environmentally friendly. These include: solar panels to feed the office and the city´s power grid; green roofs to improve the air quality of the city and to collect rainwater; recycling stations to encourage the community to classify waste; and bicycle stations to promote the use of a Eco-friendly means of transport

Description:
Located in Nordelta, near the canals of Río de la Plata, the proposal for this Sports Hall is based on the optimization of natural resources. The design and technology of this building is sustainable and will reduce energy and environmental costs. This technology includes rainwater collectors and a double ventilated facade.
The project is divided in two main volumes connected by a service and support area with exterior geometrical hills for the play area of the surrounding courts.

Description:
This remodeling consisted in the joining of two bedrooms in one, inspired in a yacht distribution since the client is a yacht designer. Each piece of furniture was tailor made to suit he´s specific needs.
The main piece of furniture in this bedroom is centrally located to help structure the distribution and to divide the private area where the walk-in closet is.
Different types of natural wood were used to give either the feeling of being in a yacht or a warm cozy atmosphere.

Description:
The MET Office Building is located in Buenos Aires´ audiovisual district, Palermo.
Every floor was designed as an open plan for office use. The two buildings´ facades are curtain walls to let the solar light in and to ensure double air circulation.
Seen from the outside, this building reflects the sky and the city when some of the windows are open, with changes its image.

Description:
This idea project is located on a narrow vacant lot in the city of Boise, near the university campus. In order to increase the number of faculty housing units, the use of this vacant lot was proposed, with the formal challenge of the first floor. In connection with the good sunlight from the south, it was decided to form a housing strip that would create a green promenade to walk around the complex and make it part of the campus. In addition, the public route includes not only the ground floor but also the terraces that become part of the park.
