School of Agribusiness (A knowledge centre for villagers to explore their own telent ) location: village shukrtal of district muzaffernager (u.p)

The project aims to resuscitate the village economy by utilizing the key feature of the mela (fair) to advantage. This would return the lost dignity to the farmer, augment his income, encourage women towards work-participation (aiding community growth and increasing the collective income of an individual household). A robust rural economy would not only usher in a new era of better standard of living, it will also stem the growing trend of emigration of the rural youth to the urban centres, which in itself would alleviate many urban issues.

Shukratal is a small village located in central u.p., with a sum total of 5000 residents and is best known as religious centre, entwined with legends as old as the mahabharata. It is famous for the Vat Vraksha, a tree as old as time (estimated to be at least 5000 years old), under which the maharishi shukra is said to have explained the Srimad Bhagvatham to Maharaja Parikshit. Millions of pilgrims visit Shukrataal every year to purge their sins.

In today’s high tech. and busy world everyone wants fast and best output. So keeping these points and many advantages of steel, we are using modular steel construction unit. It reduces the amount of waste on-site and When strength combined with stainability it blesses human kind. Here we are trying to integrate strength with the nature.

Community Center Sumari Bhardar, Rudhra prayag UTTARAKHAND

community center front view

community center front view

Based on the discussions with community, the proposed centre would cater to multiple functions like emergency shelter, training centre for women, Care centre for children and regular communal events. The space requirements include a Common Hall for gathering, Verandah and Front Yard, Kitchen, Store Room, Toilet Block and Flat Roof for gathering. The community has shown its interests and participating in the whole process of reconstruction of community centre.

Many times on site conversation with the local community turned to erudite discussions. Alacrity and exigent of people gave us many sustainable design solutions. Finally we came up with a community centre design that is based on the different them-spaces. Large size summer hall and winter hall was designed with relationship with the open spaces.
