Leadership Volunteer Opportunity: Community Volunteer Leader Do you have a passion for volunteering? We are currently seeking a Community Volunteer Leader. This is a volunteer management position that directly recruits and organizes our volunteers. They work with Red Cross staff, other Red Cross leadership volunteers locally and throughout Europe. This person will engage with the local community to establish volunteer opportunities and to place volunteers. Additional responsibilities include working with the Leadership Team in supporting the Red Cross mission, conducting volunteer needs assessments, coordinating annual recognition activities, and ensuring

Upcoming Events September Coloring Contest CPR/FA/AED Class Blended Learning PW CMD Talk
Upcoming Events September Coloring Contest In honor of Disaster Preparedness Month, the Red Cross is hosting a coloring contest. The “Coloring Contest” offer parents a chance to review the family disaster plan with their children. We will take entries from September 1st to September 30th at the Red Cross office. A committee will choose a winner and their family will receive a family sized emergency preparedness (NEO) kit. The coloring sheet is available on the Sigonella American Red Cross FB page or at the Red Cross office. CPR/FA/AED Class Blended Learning September 18 from 0900-1630 at the Red Cross Classroom. October CPR/FA/AED Class Read Across the Globe
requires part online and part in classroom learning. Please register by September 15th. Public Works CMD: After PT Walk and Talk September 25 from 0700-0830 at NAS II Gym. Volunteers are requested to meet at the turf field on NAS II at 7:00am to give out handouts during the walk and talk. Please wear your Red Cross t-shirt if you have one.

Read Across the Globe Do you have a love of reading? Help pass that love onto our local youth by volunteering to help us participate in setting a record for reading to the most children in a 24-hour period on October 19 as a part of the Read Across the Globe Event.
