This is a volunteer management position that is responsible for our youth volunteer program under the direction of our Station Manager, Station Volunteer Partner, and Community Volunteer Leader. This person will recruit youth volunteers and engage with the local community to

We would also like to welcome our newest Babysitter Training Instructors: Facebook
Sarah Buck and Shelley Guidry. These individuals have successfully completed the additional training necessary to teach Babysitters Training to youth ages 11 to 15. They are also CPR/First Aid/AED Instructors so in conjunction with the Babysitters Training course they will teach participants Pediatric CPR/First Aid. Thanks to them we will be able to offer this class to our local community!

Upcoming Events National Night Out On August 4 from 1700-2030 at Marinai, Volunteers are requested to help set up and assist during the National Night Out. There will be an information booth in the back parking lot by the soccer fields, bean bag toss, and safety questions for children.

CPR/FA/AED Class August 15 from 0900-1630 at the Red Cross Classroom for $55. Please register by August 12th. September 18 from 0900-1630 at the same location. Please contact the office to register.

Aid and CPR training for any potential babysitters. Youth between the ages of 11 and 15 acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for infants and children up to the age of 10, as well as to manage a babysitting business. The cost is $45; please RSVP by August 19th. CPR/FA/AED Class Blended Learning September 18 from 0900-1630 at the same location. Blended learning requires part online and part in classroom learning. Please register by September 15th.
